Today I shared a little about the Sanskrit word Mudita.

Mudita means finding joy in the happiness of others, and when I came across this word, it felt like finding a piece of myself in a philosophy.

I’ve always loved celebrating other people’s wins, watching them grow, heal, succeed, and find happiness. Their joy genuinely brings me joy. 💞

In a world that often encourages comparison, Mudita reminds us that someone else’s light doesn’t take away from our own. There’s enough room for all of us to shine.

So today, I invite you to celebrate someone. Share in their happiness. Cheer them on. You never know how much joy it might bring to both of you. ✨

Sometimes the most nurturing thing we can do is honour the season we’re in.

After much reflection, I’ve decided to take a pause from running regular weekly yoga classes.

This decision comes from a place of self-care and creating space to focus on my own wellbeing, family, work, and future plans.

To everyone who has attended a class, shared a practice, or supported me along the way, thank you. Your support has meant the world.

This isn’t goodbye to yoga. Yoga remains a huge part of my life and I look forward to sharing future offerings when the time feels right, whether that’s workshops, monthly reset sessions, online classes, or something completely new.

For now, I’m choosing to slow down, listen, and trust the next chapter as it unfolds.

I’m thinking about creating a Monthly Reset Club. A gentle online space where we can pause, breathe, reflect and reconnect with ourselves.

My initial ideas include:

✨ Journaling
✨ Meditation or Yoga Nidra
✨ Reiki
✨ Nervous system support
✨ Moon reflections and intention setting

A little introduction for those who are new here 🤍

I’m Marie, the heart behind The Body Whisperer.

My path has never been about fixing people. It’s about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves.

Through yoga, somatic practices, breathwork, massage, Reiki, meditation and nervous system support, I help people slow down, listen to their bodies, and find their way back home to themselves.

I believe healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you’ve always been beneath the stress, expectations, and noise of everyday life.

Whether you’ve joined me for a class, a treatment, or you’re simply following along online, thank you for being here.

Sometimes the simplest practices are the most powerful. 🌿

When life feels overwhelming, we often think we need to do something big to feel better. But sometimes all it takes is a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves.

This gentle finger breathing exercise is one of my favourite mindfulness techniques. By combining movement with the breath, it helps bring you back into the present moment and can soothe a busy mind, calm anxious thoughts, and support nervous system regulation.

Try it with me today:
✨ Trace up each finger as you breathe in.
✨ Trace down each finger as you breathe out.

Simple. Accessible. Effective.
