Ogg's Pharmacy can trace its existence as a pharmacy in Ayr back to 1836 and has an established history as an independent family owned business. Both Sam and Rachel qualified as pharmacists in 2013 following a Masters of Pharmacy degree at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Both subsequently qualified as Independent Prescribers allowing them to provide a higher quality service to their patients.
Sam is the regular pharmacist within Ogg's although Rachel makes an appearance when she isn't working in her NHS role or looking after their children. Sam has a wealth of community pharmacy experience and was named the Community Pharmacist of the Year at the Scottish Pharmacy Awards in 2018. As a family run business our goal is to provide high quality customer service to all our patients. Our range of services is growing all the time and now includes Pharmacy First, travel clinic, wax removal clinic, sexual health clinic and smoking cessation. We are uniquely patient focused and our experienced team are passionate about serving the community in Ayr.
