Your bridal trial is exactly that…a trial 🤍

It’s not always meant to be the final version of your wedding day glam, it’s the starting point. A chance for us to test, tweak, adjust and refine everything so that on your wedding morning, you feel like the very best version of yourself.

Lighting is different. Hairstylist is there. Your tan, skin prep, dress, accessories, emotions and even your confidence on the actual day all play a huge part in the finished look. What may feel “not quite right” at a trial often becomes absolutely perfect once all the pieces come together ✨

These two photos are the perfect example. Same bride, same artist but with adjustments, feedback and wedding day finishing touches, the final look came together beautifully.

I just want to gently remind future brides: communication is everything. Trials are collaborative. If something doesn’t feel like you, that’s okay, tell your artist. Most of the magic happens in the adjustments we make afterwards 🤍

I had the absolute honour of being chosen as my beautiful friend’s makeup artist for one of the most special days of her life over the weekend🤍✨

We’ve witnessed so many different phases of life over the years. The highs, the heartbreaks, the growth, the laughter & all the moments in between. So to stand beside her on a day filled with so much love & happiness along with her family, felt incredibly special.

Big life update 🤍✈️

After an incredible journey in Scotland, I’m so excited to share that I’ll be relocating to the US later this year. As a result, I’ll be taking my final bookings up until July 30th.

I want to say the biggest thank you to every single client who has supported me, trusted me and sat in my chair over the years. Whether you booked once or have been with me from the start, I’m so grateful for you 🙏🏽You’ve allowed me to do what I love every day and be part of your special occasions and that means everything to me 🤍

This stunning girl decided to go bold for her Christmas party night out with a red lip that she’d never done before & all I can say is wow! 😍

It’s always a little nerve wracking trying something new make up wise. I always tell clients that it’s just make up, nothing is permanent and we can always start over and try again if there’s anything you’re not vibing with.

I think this festive look is so stunning on her. We also added a strip lash, kept bronzing to a minimum and instead went for the Shade + Light Contour palette.

When working with lighter skin tones, it’s important to use shades that will give some depth and dimension without being orange & that one is my fav products right now for achieving this look!

Beautiful Bride Tina ❤️

Tina has a such great backstory with how we got her make up look for her special day. Originally at her bridal trial we did peachy tones, gold eyeshadow, nude/pink lips, and light bronzing. Warm tones.

She had me back again to do her make up for her hen do and this time we did a bold red lip. She also had gotten a trial run of a spray tan so we went with warm tones again to compliment her tan.

She ultimately decided against the spray tan and on her wedding day, we went for dark lips, brown neutral tones on her eyes (no shimmer), kept her skin dewy with rose tones for cheeks and no bronzer. We instead added depth & contrast with subtle shading using grey toned contour.

The final look was so stunning. She envisioned a classic, English winter rose vibe. She also got married at the stunning Borthwick Castle & it all came together so beautifully.

Let this be a sign that at your trial and leading up to your wedding, is the time to really work with your make up artist to create the vision you want for your special day! ❤️

As many of you know, I am a fully mobile makeup artist; meaning I bring my full kit and set up in the comfort of your home or venue, creating a seamless and relaxing experience from start to finish.

To continue providing the best quality service, investing in my kit, training, and the time and travel involved in mobile appointments, my pricing has now been updated.

All appointments already booked will still be honoured at the previously discussed rate.

You couldn’t meet a more genuine & lovely person like Sarah! I was so honoured to be apart of her special day.

We went for a classic make up look for Sarah’s wedding day. Using brown neutral tones with hints of auburn & shimmer on the eyes paired with individual cluster lashes.

A slightly brown lip using lip liner in Stripdown and lipstick in Honey love topped with lip gloss in $weetmouth.

We kept the skin light & fresh by strategically layering cream and powder products for all day and night longevity.

I also always mix a drop or two of duraline in my foundation to give the base as much sweat proof, waterproof, tear proof etc as possible!

cream blush and yummy skin powder balm in the t zone and areas that get oily to make the skin look like a real life filter.

All nighter setting spray & body glow to finish.

She was just so stunning and also had a badass full back tattoo! So much happiness for you & yours! Thank you for choosing me as your artist! 🤍🙏🏽✨
