This skull has journeyed to help you along your chosen path.

This week I took this beautiful large Brazilian Morion Smoky Quartz Skull out into the landscape with me. She is a large 4-inch skull, weighing 952g.

We visited Gordale Scar, Janet’s Foss and Malham Cove. Each landscape offering something to the crystal, something different, yet something needed.

The crystal holds what is offered by each landscape, making every Field Crystal unique, with its own individual vibration.

In these posts I will not share the messages from each landscape for the crystal to carry forward. Those messages are for the new guardian. However, I can share a little of the journey.

This Morion Smoky Quartz Skull sat beside me whilst I wrote in Gordale Scar, perched upon a rock, watching and listening to the waterfall crash and fall through the rock formations before returning to the calmer river waters below.

She visited the woodland glen where Janet’s Foss flowed into the plunge pool below, and journeyed to the top of the waterfall.

At Malham Cove, she sat high above the impressive limestone cliffs, watching the river flow through the valley below and soaking up the September sunshine from the green grass of the Yorkshire Dales.

This skull has much to say and much to offer.

✨ SUPER SEVEN — A CRYSTAL AS INDIVIDUAL AS THE JOURNEY ✨

Super Seven is a rare and fascinating crystal associated with higher spiritual knowledge, guidance, spiritual awakening and transcendence.

Its name comes from the seven minerals traditionally associated with Super Seven: Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Goethite and Lepidocrocite.

Yet one of the things I find most interesting about Super Seven is that not every individual piece visibly contains all seven minerals.

Each piece has formed differently.

Each carries its own combination, inclusions, markings and character — and therefore, within crystal-healing traditions, is understood to offer its own individual energetic expression.

Perhaps that makes Super Seven particularly appropriate for spiritual work.

Because spiritual awakening isn't identical for any two people either.

We each arrive with our own history. Our own experiences. Our own questions, wounds, beliefs and stories. What brings one person towards deeper understanding may be entirely different from what another needs.

Transcendence doesn't require us all to take the same path.

💀✨ SMALLER CRYSTALS, JUST AS MUCH CHARACTER ✨👼

Not every crystal needs to be a statement-sized piece.

Today I'm sharing some of the smaller crystal skulls and angels currently available at Quartz Valley Crystals — beautiful carvings for those looking for something a little smaller, whether as a companion crystal, for a sacred space, to carry with you or simply because one catches your eye.

Let’s journey together🌿

When I journey into landscape, I take crystals with me, these field crystals walk beside me across moorland, sit beside or within water, are carried along old paths and are taken into the places where I go to observe, write and simply listen, these Field Crystals have travelled alongside me.

It has become an important part of my practice. Crystals are gifts from Mother Earth, formed within the Earth over extraordinary spans of time. Taking them back into landscape feels like allowing two parts of the same story to meet again.

And yet the journeys we make through landscape are rarely only external ones.

We walk, climb, stop and change direction. We encounter boundaries and unexpected paths. We become still enough to notice what is happening around us — and sometimes, in doing so, we begin to notice what is happening within us too.

That is where my Vision Quest Crystals sit alongside the Field Crystals.

In this video I have included Ancient Bison, one of my Vision Quest pieces. These are crystals I associate particularly with exploration, reflection and the inward journey — companions for those periods when we are questioning where we have been, where we are going, or what might be asking to emerge next.

A Field Crystal carries the story of a journey through landscape.

A Vision Quest Crystal invites a journey into ourselves.

And sometimes a crystal can belong to both.

Perhaps that is the deeper connection I am beginning to explore through Quartz Valley Crystals:

the landscape outside us, the landscape within us, and the pieces of Mother Earth that accompany us between the two.

As a writer, much of my work begins outside.

I walk into the landscapes I observe, listen to and communicate with — the moors, hills, quarries, woodland and water that continually shape both my writing and my spiritual practice.

And often, crystals come with me.

I don't always decide which ones. Sometimes a particular crystal simply calls to be taken into the landscape that day.

I believe something beautiful happens during these journeys. The energy and story of the landscape become entwined with the individual energy of the crystal — stone meeting stone, mineral meeting earth, wind, water, light and place.

When the crystal eventually moves on to its new caretaker, it carries not only its own ancient energetic qualities, but something of the landscapes it has journeyed through with me.
