🚨 When NOT to take ibuprofen 🚨
Ibuprofen can be very effective for pain, inflammation and fever, but it’s not suitable for everyone.
❌ Avoid taking ibuprofen (unless advised by a healthcare professional) if you:
• Have a stomach ulcer or a history of stomach bleeding
• Have uncontrolled asthma, as it can trigger symptoms in some people
• Take blood thinning medication such as warfarin, apixaban or rivaroxaban
• Have certain kidney problems
• Have previously had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines
⚠️ If you take medication for high blood pressure, it’s important to check with us before taking ibuprofen, as it can affect how some medicines work and may not be suitable for everyone.
