It’s about time I did something crazy again.

A ridiculous challenge? ✅
Long distance? ✅
Up a mountain? ✅
Ten times? ✅ - wait what…
Over 24 hours? ✅ Hold on, how long?!

10yFan is tomorrow!

10 ascents of Pen y Fan from Pont Ar Daf in 24hrs, totalling 29,070ft of ascent - that’s just over the height of Mt Everest, but saves me a few quid on flights & oxygen.

A different fundraising approach this time; as it’s a 24hr attempt, I’m also going to attempt to raise as much as I can from 24hrs before I begin.

Keep an eye out, fundraising details will go live at 6pm today - and I’ll post updates throughout the attempt which I’ll be starting at 6pm tomorrow (Saturday 9th May).

Stopped for a quick service station coffee while I reflect on a fantastic week in Eryri leading some of the guys & girls from 22 Engineer Regiment - some of whom had never done a big day on the hills before.

It’s fair to say we were absolutely blessed with the weather!

Fingers crossed for a little more sun - time for some climbing this coming week…
