Community Care Team Leader
Platinum Support & Care Services
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Care Team Leader to support our care teams and help maintain the high standards of care Platinum Support & Care Services is known for.
The Team Leader will work closely with carers, office staff and management, providing leadership and support while ensuring our company policies, procedures and values are upheld across the service.
Key Responsibilities
â—Ź Lead, support and mentor a designated team of Community Care Workers.
â—Ź Welcome, induct and mentor new staff, supporting them as they settle into their role.
â—Ź Complete care duties within the community and lead by example in delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
â—Ź Ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
â—Ź Carry out regular checks of care documentation and ensure required paperwork is completed to company standards.
â—Ź Support staff to understand and follow RQIA standards, company policies and procedures.
â—Ź Promote dignity, respect, choice, independence and safeguarding in all aspects of care.
â—Ź Identify and report concerns relating to clients, staff or service delivery promptly to management.
â—Ź Support staff with day-to-day issues and provide guidance and problem-solving where required.
â—Ź Attend QuaterlyTeam Leader and management meetings.
â—Ź Complete allocated weekly Team Leader tasks and provide updates to management.
â—Ź Assist with maintaining continuity and quality of care within the community.
â—Ź Participate in co-ordinating weekends on a pro-rata basis, supporting the smooth running of the service outside normal office hours.
â—Ź Maintain effective communication between clients, families, care staff and the management team.
● Promote Platinum’s values and contribute to maintaining our strong reputation within the communities we serve.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate should have previous experience working within the care sector, ideally in domiciliary/community care, and be confident supporting and leading others.
You should be organised, approachable and dependable, with good communication and problem-solving skills and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.
A full UK driving licence and access to transport will be required due to the community-based nature of the role.
Salary: Competitive – discussed at interview
