Fiona from Signlines was just working away on our new Bee Haven Bodycare shop sign today when this little dude showed up in her factory, and plonked itself right on the sign …. looks like a male (drone) bumblebee (buff tail or garden I think).

So…a little update for you all on our LAST 2 WEEKS in Ballygowan 🤯

Please remember we will be FULLY CLOSED and not shipping any website orders between 4th - 15th JULY. Please order what you need to cover you before we shut the doors in Ballygowan 5pm 4th July! Please note: Our website will still accept orders when we are closed, however there will be a delay in posting them out, and pickups will be the same (none from 5pm 4th - 15th July)

Doorstep deliveries are still unavailable as Dad is still recovering after being wiped out by the flu.

I am on my own most of this week as Brooke & Riley are off….so I will be SHIPPING ORDERS DAILY to try keep up.. this should hopefully quicken the service a bit for you ✉️ 🚐

For those who messaged about the Tallow Baby Anytime Cream (fragrance free) and our Fragrance Free conditioner THEY ARE NOW IN STOCK, I had made them but the stock hadn’t updated (sorry) 🙈

On the topic of stock levels, obviously things are absolutely manic atm, I’m trying my best to ensure we have enough stock to last for 10 full days of me not making anything as we relocate.. For stock now I’m prioritising our best sellers, and those products people rely on for day to day.

There are some ‘fun items’ that are out of stock like whipped soaps & scrubs, perfumes, bathbombs and some of our fragrance oil body soaps that have been made (or I plan to make in the next 2 weeks), but we will not be putting them on sale until we reopen in Gilnahirk on 15th July. Hopefully that makes sense.

Please bare with us over the next few weeks, we are only 3 people moving a full business into a new location.. and all 3 of those people have holidays booked in the next 3 weeks too! 🤪🤪🤪

A beautiful swarm of bees under a neighbours patio table. They aren’t my bees… but they are now! lol

I’ll let them settle overnight. The homeowner will close them in at dusk when all the bees are inside. I’ll pick them up in the morning 😊

It’s beginning to look like a shop 🤪

A sneaky peak into the start of building our new shop at Gilnahirk (111 Gilnahirk Rd, Belfast, BT5 7QL)

Brooke has been organising everything AND building ikea furniture. Mark (my better half) has been painting. I’ve been stock building for opening & cleaning. We’ve a new floor down, new lighting on the way… and our signage ordered.

If you haven’t tried Bee Haven Bodycare yet, and you live in the area of BT5….then it’s going to be your local GO TO for natural skincare, hand & body creams, baby products, cold process soap, fragrance & bathbombs! All made in-store 👏

As a brand we have been trading for over 7 years online, with the last 4 years in a retail shop format as well.

We have developed, and grown, worried, and saved, but most of all we have dreamed.. dreamed of having our perfect shop in our perfect location… and I think we may have just achieved that dream! 💭

We are still open in Ballygowan until 5pm on 4th July - when we close until opening day on 15th July!

Website is operating as normal (however no orders dispatched from 4th - 15th July).

If you are a customer of ours please make sure you have what you need to cover you over our closing period 🙏

P.S our stock levels are good (on all our essentials). Some products are out of stock, like bath bombs, which will be coming back for opening day.

Our new floor is down in the new shop! Building of the units has started.. painting is almost finished, new sign is ordered and new lighting is happening tomorrow! It’s all coming together

Making soap and bath bombs can be messy! So rather than risk staining the worktop in my work-area I decided to give it a temporary cover! Can’t believe how easy it was to do!
