We’re pleased to offer MenB (Meningitis vaccinations) at Woodsides Pharmacy, helping eligible young people get protected against meningococcal group B disease before heading off to university or student accommodation.

If you’re eligible, the MenB vaccine is FREE, and 2 doses are required for full protection.

You may be eligible if you:

🔹 Were born between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2008
🔹 Are starting university for the first time in autumn 2026 and were born on or after 21 July 2001
🔹 Are moving into further education accommodation or student halls for the first time in autumn 2026 and were born on or after 21 July 2001

🚴‍♀️💙 A VERY SPECIAL FAMILY CHALLENGE! 💙🚴‍♂️

We’re delighted to share that our pharmacist Joanne, along with her husband Ben, father-in-law Trevor and children, Bella, John and Raphaelle, are taking part in Tour de 4 2026 — a very special cycling event raising vital funds to fight cancer. 🎗️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Tour de 4 was launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. The event brings together people living with Stage 4 cancer, alongside their families, friends and supporters, to cycle side by side and raise much-needed funds. ❤️

It’s about showing that a cancer diagnosis does not define a person and celebrating the strength, resilience and determination of those affected. 💪✨

All funds raised will support charities helping people affected by Stage 4 cancer, providing vital support and care. 🎗️❤️

A new campaign has been launched in community pharmacies across Northern Ireland.

The ‘Managing Anxiety’ campaign encourages people to look after their mental health and wellbeing.

Running throughout August and September 2026, the campaign offers practical tips and ideas to help manage anxiety, along with information on where to find support if you need it.

To keep health risks from alcohol to a low level, it is safest not to drink more than 14 units a week.

Understanding units is key to keeping track of how much you’re drinking so get to know how many units are in your favourite drinks.
