Fun Friday! The balloon mayhem is always popular! We love being with the Friday Club.. Totally volunteer lead, very rewarding. We welcomed Hayden last week joining Nick in our kitchen. Thank you to everyone that volunteers with us. Some have multiple roles too. Jocelyn, Jen, Sarah, Lesley, Kim, Barbara, Stacey, Alison, Steve,Tim, Steph, Nick, Kate, Joe, Hayden. All stars!

📢 Centre Closure Notice

Due to the extreme weather conditions, Cornhill Community Centre will be closed from Wednesday 24th June to Friday 26th June.

This means that Warm Welcome Café and Friday Club will not be running this week.

We hope everyone is keeping cool and safe during this period. Please take extra care of yourselves and check in on anyone who may be vulnerable.

☀️ Tips for staying safe in the heat:
• Drink plenty of fluids
• Check on vulnerable neighbours, friends and family
• Take cool baths or showers
• Wear loose, light-coloured clothing
• Use water sprays or damp cloths to cool down
• Avoid the sun between 11am–3pm
• Avoid excess alcohol
• Avoid extreme exercise

If you feel unwell or are concerned about someone, please seek medical advice or call 111.

Bingo was among our activities at our Friday Club last week. Of course the usual dominoes, scrabble and various other activities too. We had a lovely 2 course meal 😋. We have had some fun weeks and forgotten to share it with you all!! Too busy having a good time 😉
