Beautiful people of a beautiful gathering. What stayed with me most was the authenticity, openness and warmth I felt from the people around me. Being welcomed exactly as you are, genuine curiosity about one another, sharing talents, stories, music and laughter without needing to impress. People being beautifully, unapologetically themselves.

May there be more gatherings like this in the world…
and more people like these. 🤍

Before I play the gong, I prepare myself first.
Working with a gong has taught me that playing is not only about technique but the state from which we play.
I believe that when we stand behind a gong, we bring something of ourselves into that moment - presence, intention, attention and the way we meet the instrument. That's why I never play from a place of emotional chaos.

For me, the gong is an amplifier.
If my mind is racing, if I'm carrying anger, frustration or emotional tension, I can feel it in the way I approach the instrument and if you are holding a space for other people, that matters.

Before every session, I take time to arrive - sometimes through meditation, sometimes through silence or reflection, through breath, grounding or a small personal ritual. I check in with myself: What am I carrying today? What belongs to me and doesn't need to enter this space? Can I put my own story aside for a while and simply listen?
I often think of it as becoming transparent, a clear channel through which the sound can move without my own emotions needing to lead it.

The longer I work with gongs, the more I understand that holding a sound session begins long before the first strike.
First I prepare the space. Then I prepare myself.
Only then do I invite the gong to speak. 🤍

September at Sound’n’Soul 🤎

A new month, four different invitations to pause, reconnect and give yourself a little space away from the noise of everyday life.

✨ 14.09 | Sound Meditation • Windsor
A deeply restful journey with singing bowls and gongs - a chance to slow down, soften and simply receive.

✨ 16.09 | Sound Immersion • Banbury
An intimate experience surrounded by layers of sound and vibration, created to support deep relaxation, presence and connection with yourself.

✨ 20.09 | Women’s Circle • Banbury
A warm, supportive space to gather with other women, share, listen, reflect and simply be without expectations or pressure.

✨ 23.09 | Cacao, Drumming & Singing • Banbury
An evening of connection, rhythm and expression. Ceremonial cacao, shared drumming and voice - no musical experience needed, just come as you are.

Four gatherings, four different experiences... Maybe one of them is exactly what you need this September.

Full details for each event are coming very soon.

If something is already calling you, send me a message and I’ll be happy to reserve your space.

I absolutely love discovering new things in the world of sound 🥰
Even after all these years of working with sound, I still feel like there is an endless universe to explore. New textures, vibrations, unusual instruments, unexpected ways of creating sound… and I hope I never lose that curiosity.
So having the opportunity to meet Jochen Fassbender and experience some of his extraordinary instruments was a real treat for me.
There is something incredibly inspiring about meeting someone who doesn't simply work with instruments, but creates them from curiosity, imagination and passion. It reminded me how many extraordinary things can be born when we allow ourselves to experiment, play, explore and simply enjoy the process of creating.

That's what I love most about the world of sound - there is no final destination but always another sound to discover.

The more I work with sound, the more I realise there is always another layer to explore. New ways of listening, feeling and creating.
Working with flumi and gongs is opening another door for me, another space to experiment, discover and understand sound in a different way.
And I love that this work never feels finished.
There is always something new to learn.
After all these years, I still get excited when I discover a new possibility.

This space is more than the place where I hold my circles as it holds a little piece of me. 🤍
I care about every detail here. Every instrument has its place. Every candle is lit with intention. Every blanket, every scent, every little object contributes to how this space feels and every voice that enters it matters.

Before a circle begins, I love those quiet moments of preparation - arranging the room, choosing the instruments, lighting the candles, creating warmth, making sure that when people walk through the door, they can slowly exhale and feel that they don't need to be anything other than themselves.

I want this to be a space where you can speak but where you can also choose silence; where you can sing loudly or barely whisper; where you can laugh, cry, listen, share or simply sit in the circle and be.
A space where every voice matters, but no voice is ever demanded.

There are cards here too and somehow, the one that is chosen so often seems to carry exactly the message that was needed in that moment. I still smile when that happens. Maybe it's intuition, synchronicity or we simply recognise the words we're finally ready to hear.
Whatever it is, I love witnessing it.

What makes this space so special to me is that I don't only create it for others bur this space holds me too.
I feel good here.
I breathe differently here.
I create here.
I sing here.
I sit in silence here.
It carries me through my own days, just as I hope it gently holds the people who enter it.
I love what I do.
Before there is a circle, a ceremony, a song or the first beat of the drum...there is the space that holds it all. 🤍
Welcome to my little temple.

A little availability update from me… 🤍
September and the first half of October are going to look a little busy at Sound’n’Soul.
My diary is already filling with private sessions and I also have some beautiful events, projects and collaborations coming up that I’m very excited to be part of. It means I’ll be spending a little more time away from my studio and my regular work over the next few weeks.

Because of this, my availability throughout September and the first half of October will be very limited, and I’ll return to my more regular diary from the second half of October.
Before then, I still have a few spaces available for private sessions:
15/9
29/9
30/9
2/10
13/10
If you’ve been thinking about booking some time with me, I’d recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later, as these will be the last available appointments for a while.

You can book a private 1:1 experience, come with someone you love for a private shared session, or arrange a small private group experience.
And if you’re an organisation, retreat, venue or fellow practitioner and would like to collaborate or bring Sound’n’Soul to your event, I’d also love to hear from you.

Then, from the second half of October, the doors will open a little wider again. 🤍
Until then, I’m following where this beautiful season is taking me… and I can’t wait to share some of it with you.

DM me to enquire or reserve one of the remaining dates.
