Xhail Classes 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️✨️

Where science meets spirituality in the most beautiful relationship 🫶

Xhail Mondays are a space to step away from the outside world, a chance to pause, breathe, soften, and reconnect with yourself.
And while the class may be an hour, the calm, grounded feeling can stay with you much longer… sometimes even days afterwards.

For some people, switching off comes naturally, but may just struggle to find the opportunity to slow down. That’s what Monday evenings are here for, holding that space for you.

For others, slowing down and sitting with their own thoughts can feel challenging and uncomfortable and that’s completely normal too.
That’s where Xhail classes come in. I gently guide the process, helping you to settle into meditation in a way that feels safe and supported.

On Mondays, we breathe.
Not just automatically, we take time to notice that you are actually breathing, living, existing. When do any of us really do that in our day?

We move gently too, with easy head and neck stretches / somanic movements to help release tension from the body and prepare you for a deeper, more comfortable meditation.

Then we meditate, using traditional practices that have supported people for thousands of years. These techniques can help calm the “monkey mind,” As the mind settles, the brain and nervous system can begin to support clearer thinking & emotional balance. Help you to connect with your own intuition & spiritual guidance 💫

Monday evenings are an opportunity to fully relax your physical body and nervous system and allow natural healing to begin physically, mentally, and emotionally.

When we enter deep rest
✨ muscles soften
✨ cells regenerate
✨ heart rate and blood pressure settle
✨ brainwaves and hormones rebalance
✨ your whole energy system has space to recharge

All while being gently guided into a state of calm and reconnection with your true self through guided meditation.

Xhail Mondays are open to everyone, whether it’s your first time meditating, you’re returning to your practice, or meditation is already part of your life. I’d love to welcome you along

This weekend I have been beaming!! ✨
Completing my first ultra marathon is definitely something to celebrate. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone, testing what I’m capable of… and actually making it! 🏃‍♀️💫

As always, the universe sends messages, people and signs of support when its needed the most 🦋 And my card pick this week was spot on! Its a time to celebrate all the hard work and dedication that’s gone in, and to surround myself with the people I love. I’m SO thankful to everyone who helped me get to both the start line and the finish line ❤️

💫 The Reiki Healing Circle is designed as an intimate small group experience so you can fully relax into a longer Reiki session and deeper meditation.

The evening begins with gentle grounding breathwork, easing you into the moment, followed by a guided meditation intuitively written by Lynsey to help you connect inward to your own true self. Throughout the session you will be supported by the soothing energy of group Reiki, as well as receiving some individual hands on healing, allowing space for deep rest and energetic alignment.

If you’re new to Reiki, a group circle is a beautiful and gentle way to experience its effects. There’s nothing you need to do, simply arrive with an open mind and allow yourself to receive the energy in.

✨️ Only a few spaces available for this ✨️ you can book via gymcatch pr please get in touch via email ([email protected]) if you do not have a gymcatch account

The Experience of a Nurse & Reiki Practitioner 🪽✨️

Throughout my journey as a Reiki practitioner, I’ve often found myself speaking about its benefits, describing Reiki as energy, as a loving healing light, as something that brings comfort, beauty, and a sense of calm.

And while all of that feels true, there are still moments when it doesn’t quite feel real in a way that’s easy to explain.

So what is Reiki?
What are my actual experiences of it?
What have I witnessed in others during or after a session?

I want to begin sharing some of my experiences as a practitioner.

For my first post, I’m choosing to go deep. This may be a difficult read for some people depending on your own experiences. Im sharing this with love and support in mind

I want to talk about something incredibly important that isn’t often spoken about openly. The role Reiki can play at the end of life. These conversations sometimes happen quietly, in private but keeping them there doesn’t help anyone who might need to know this, who might benefit from it one day.

I’ve heard and witnessed a few end of life experiences, personally and professionally as a nurse. Some experiences could have been improved, but I understand how, despite best intentions, care can sometimes come too late. It’s a difficult truth, but an honest one.

I also know what it looks like when end of life care is done well, when it truly supports both the individual and their loved ones.

I feel deeply honoured to have given Reiki to some of my past patients, and to one of my own family members in the days and hours leading up to their final breath. To be present in those moments, and to contribute in some small way to someone’s care, is a privilege.

What I’ve witnessed during Reiki is the shift. A movement from agitation to calm, from restlessness to a sense of peace. A shift from holding on tightly, to gently letting go, a place of surrender and acceptance.

One patient in particular, I remember, whose breathing and body were restless and unsettled. The family were present holding that tension and stress too. I asked the family if they would mind me doing some Reiki.

As I began, there was a gradual softening. Their breathing felt more at ease, their body began to relax, the energy in the room shifted in a way that was noticeable and gentle.

One of the family told me afterwards, It just felt peaceful all of a sudden and it was the most settled they had seen their loved one in days.

Another time, is when i went into see my own granny the night she passed away, i had just finished a long 12hour shift and on the drive home my mum called to update me about her, she had been really unwell and we knew she wouldn’t have long. I decided to go in past the care home and sit with her. I instinctively called in the Reiki, and the force of energy i felt and the brightness of light I held behind closed eyes (those who know, will know) it was incredible. Not overwhelming, it just felt really present, It felt like she was being held with love. And nothing else mattered in that moment.

These experiences and more stay with me 🩷

Death is a transition, one that deserves to be supported with care and compassion. That includes tending to physical pain and discomfort, easing emotions, and allowing space for spirituality, whatever that means to that person.

This is Reiki, Love and light in every essence of the words ✨️

I’ll share more again soon,
Thank you for being here 💕

April energy 🧡

Powered by sunlight, guided by the moon, spending time outside in nature and creativity. And always with those who make me feel safe, loved and suppored.

What a life it is, when you take a step back from the everyday 'chaos'

It might not be everyone's, but this is my solution 😊

Wellbeing in the Workplace ✨

It was so great to be back delivering a full XHAIL session for the Oceanerring team. Such a fab space to work from, and even better to see a company actively promoting meditation as a way for their team to step away from the desk, reset, and re-energise both mind and body.

The benefits of taking this time are endless, not just for individuals but for the whole workplace 🙌

When the mind and body are given the space to truly relax, here’s what can unfold:

• Greater creativity and problem-solving (individually and as a team)
• Reduced stress and burnout
• Increased focus
• A kinder, more compassionate workplace
• A deeper sense of calm and productivity
• Boosted motivation and confidence
• And so much more…

I love creating spaces where the mind can settle, the body can soften, and people can reconnect with thete true selves, unlocking their full potential. Whether it’s in a weekly studio class or a workplace session, the more these practices are shared, the more people benefit.

That’s the ripple effect and it begins with you ✨

If you or your workplace, team or group are interested in giving meditation a try i have lots of available options from 20min, 30min or full 1hour sessions, just get in touch via email or message for further info

I also hold regular classes on a Monday evening at the Deeside Wellbeing Collective Studio in Banchory 7.45pm 💫💕
