Join Lynsey (xhail with Lyns) for a relaxing yet grounding evening to mark the Summer Solstice, the peak of light and abundance.
Through guided meditation, gentle reflection, and journaling, you'll be supported to ease and settle your nervous system, quieten the noise of the outside world, and reconnect with your inner soul self. As we harness the life giving energy of the Summer Solstice, we'll create space to reflect on the first half of the year and gain clarity on what you want to carry forward, connected to your intentions for the months ahead.

With huge thanks to the support from Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action we’re really grateful to have been awarded funding this year from the Scottish Government’s Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults Round 5.

With this funding, we are able to offer monthly free classes for adults throughout 2026 which alternate practitioners each month.

We had a lovely turn out this week for our Yoga and Meditation for 65+ offering ~ please keep an eye out for our next community session for June, which will be advertised soon ..

In addition, we are delighted to share that with the award of this funding, we’re now able to offer funded 1:1 sessions available in:

🧘 Yoga
✨ Reiki
🌿 Meditation
💫 Sound Bath

These personalised sessions could make a real difference to someone’s health and wellbeing and can be accessed through our DWC Funded 1:1 Session Referral Form.

Referrals can be made by any health professional on behalf of someone, including
GP, Nurse, Physio, OT, Social Worker and other support professionals.

We would truly love to see these spaces being used to support someone’s wellbeing. It could be the very first step towards a real positive change

As a social enterprise organisation (specifically we’re a Community Interest Company which means all of our profits are invested back into the local community and our assets are held within an “asset lock”), we’re delighted to continue offering free (fully funded) spaces at our special seasonal wellbeing events, including yoga, meditation and sound bath experiences. ✨

For our upcoming outdoor Summer Solstice event at Potarch on the morning of Sunday 21 June, we currently have 2 funded spaces available. You can apply for yourself or nominate someone else (you may know a friend/family member/work colleague who could benefit right now or you may be a health professional and know of a patient or client who could benefit). We would LOVE to gift these spaces to anyone who could benefit from a little time out, rest, and care 💛

Teen Yoga & Wellbeing!
The next block starts on Tuesday May 26th, 3.45pm - 4.45pm.
Our programme welcomes young people from P7-S6, providing a calm, supportive space where teens can relax, and develop tools to help navigate stress, gain focus and self-confidence through a variety of mindfulness and wellbeing practices.
We’re delighted to be offering our Wellbeing Programme in the upcoming block to include girls currently in P7, helping support their transition into S1.
This 5 week programme will include yoga, pilates, meditation and sound bath healing from our lovely group of experienced practitioners

It’s baaaack! For a 4th year in a row, and where the idea of creating DWC all began, we’re super excited to return to the outdoors for Yoga, Meditation and Sound on this year’s Summer Solstice ☀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️✨

Harnessing the power of the sun, you can expect an energising, nourishing and blissful morning of yoga with Laura , meditation with and sound bath with , under the trees by the River Dee at Potarch, with maybe even a dip in the river after for anyone who is keen 🌊 and coffee/brunch at cafe

Join Vikki for a Yoga & Meditation Class aimed for those aged 65 and over.
With 20 years of yoga teaching experience, Vikki has taught yoga to people at all ages & stages of life! She has created a gentle yet fun yoga class to help with flexibility, strength & balance. To be followed by a short, easy meditation to allow the mind to switch off & rest!
This will be suitable for beginners but will also include more challenging options for those who are aged over 65, but behave like they’re under 65! 😊
This is a free/donation based class held in a warm, welcoming space.

✨Community Preschool Yoga with Laura is back! ✨

This Friday 8th May at 1:15-2pm - now open for booking on DWC Gymcatch 💚

Join Laura for a special afternoon of yoga fun for both children and their grown ups. In an effort to make yoga more accessible, this is a free/donation based class. This will include songs, movement, breathing exercises and meditation. These activities will help the little ones express their feelings and learn to connect with their bodies. It is a wonderful opportunity for families to bond and engage together. Everyone is welcome to this community class making it a great way to meet others and enjoy a healthy, mindful activity. Recommended for age 3 to 5 year olds 💜
