ONE YEAR HEALED.

Today I tattooed a pheasant for a returning client, which gave me the opportunity to photograph this Blue Tit again over a year after it was completed.

It’s always rewarding to see how a tattoo has settled over time, particularly with colour realism work.

Wildlife remains one of my favourite subjects to tattoo, whether in colour or black and grey. I love capturing the character, detail and beauty of the original subject while creating something that will continue to look great long after it has healed.

It’s also always a privilege when clients return to add to their collection, so a huge thank you to for coming back once again and allowing me to share both pieces.

Thank you for your patience while I was away last week.

I’m now back in the studio and working my way through a backlog of messages, quote requests, consultations and admin. If you’ve contacted me recently and are still waiting for a reply, please bear with me a little longer — I haven’t forgotten you.

Walk-In Wednesday is also back to normal this week, running from 1pm–7pm, with tattoos and piercings available on a first come, first served basis.

📅 This Week at Inkvasion 📅

A slightly different week for us here at the studio!

• Monday – Closed
• Tuesday – Non will be in the studio, but I’ll be taking some time away from work as my partner is visiting from Copenhagen.
• Walk-In Wednesday – Running earlier than usual this week, from 11am–4pm. (Leia has a vet appointment later in the day 🐾)
• Thursday – Fully booked
• Friday – Very limited availability remaining (opening hours to be confirmed)
• Saturday – Samuel will be in the studio, but I won’t be available.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and support. Sometimes it’s important to take a little time to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and return ready to give every client my best.

One of the larger ongoing projects currently in progress at Inkvasion 🖤

Japanese work is always about balance over speed — building flow across the body, contrast that holds long-term, and making sure every session adds to the overall movement of the piece.

The top section is now healed and we added more to the lower half the second session session.

Really excited to keep pushing this one further 🐉

Would absolutely love to take on more larger-scale custom projects over the coming months too — whether that’s Japanese, realism, dark ornamental, wildlife-inspired or full custom concepts designed to flow with the body.

Another busy week ahead at Inkvasion 👀🔥

Tomorrow kicks off with a seriously cool dragon project that I’m VERY excited to get stuck into 🐉

Wednesday = WALK-IN WEDNESDAY as usual ✨
Fine line tattoos, small pieces, flash designs & piercing spaces available alongside walk-ins on a first come, first served basis.

Thursday brings a traditional tarot-inspired piece alongside a few smaller tattoos, Friday is cover-up day 👊 and Saturday we’ll be adding more progress into the Japanese sleeve project before finishing the week with a couple of smaller pieces.

Non will be in the studio Tuesday & Thursday helping with enquiries while continuing her tattoo practice and progression behind the scenes 🎨

Samuel will also be taking a well-deserved weekend off after a busy run in the studio 🙌

Another busy week ahead at Inkvasion 🖤✨

Sascia is now fully booked all week (thank you all 🙌) and only has ONE slot remaining for the rest of May:

📍 Thursday 28th
🕛 Approx 12–5/6pm

Perfect for somebody wanting to start a larger project, realism piece, dark/gothic concept, wildlife work, or a custom piece we can really get creative with 👀

Samuel is also fully booked this weekend.

Guy will be back in the studio from Wednesday for our Walk-In Wednesday and is currently looking to take on more pieces within his speciality — bold traditional work with strong linework, solid black shading, classic colour palettes, and timeless tattoo designs 🔥

So if you’ve been thinking about a trad piece, flash tattoo, dagger, panther, skull, swallow, rose, lady head, or classic Americana-inspired work, definitely come and chat to him while he’s in.

Our apprentices will also be in the studio 3 times this week, continuing their fake skin practice, learning the ropes, helping around the studio, and taking enquiries — so make sure you say hi to them while you’re in 😊

As always, Walk-In Wednesday includes tattoos, piercings, flash designs, and smaller fine-line pieces on a first come, first served basis. We’ve had queues forming before opening recently, so don’t leave it too late 👀

We just want to say a huge thank you for everybody’s patience recently. 🖤

The studio has been insanely busy both on the floor and behind the scenes, and whilst we’ve been trying to keep up with tattooing, walk-ins, bookings, admin, designs and day-to-day studio life, our messages have piled up more than we’d like.

If you’re currently waiting on a reply — please don’t panic, ignore us, or think we’ve forgotten you. We’re making our way through everything over the next couple of days and all enquiries, quotes and booking requests will be responded to.

The support for Inkvasion lately has honestly been incredible, and we appreciate every single person who chooses to support our studio. Thank you for bearing with us while we catch back up. 🖤

INKVASION’S WORST KEPT SECRET… 🖤

It’s finally time to properly introduce two of the newest additions to the Inkvasion team — Lily & Non.

Honestly, these two have settled into studio life so naturally already that it actually feels weird that I haven’t introduced them sooner 😂 You’ve probably already seen them around the studio carrying lights, making cups of tea, helping during Walk-In Wednesdays or generally becoming part of the chaos that is Inkvasion.

Both of these girls have completely thrown themselves into everything behind the scenes already, and honestly… they’re smashing it.

Their confidence, creativity, work ethic and passion for the industry has already been incredible to watch, and I’m genuinely excited to see where this journey takes them over the next few years.

They’ve been helping during Walk-In Wednesdays, learning studio setups, practising together on fake skin, discussing needles and techniques, observing tattoos and fully immersing themselves into the reality of studio life.

What’s been really lovely to watch is how naturally they’ve clicked as a team already too. Gym trips, nail appointments, long studio days, learning together, supporting each other constantly… they’ve brought such a good energy into the studio already and have naturally become a huge part of the Inkvasion atmosphere.

Style-wise they’re both beginning to develop their own creative paths too 👀

Non gravitates towards bold, high-contrast neo-traditional, blackwork and ornamental inspired designs, often pulling inspiration from gaming, music and pop culture.

Lily comes from a creative background in murals, painting and makeup artistry, with a growing love for neo-traditional, ornamental and bold clean tattoo work.

This industry takes time, dedication, consistency and resilience to learn properly, but these girls are putting the work in every single day and I honestly couldn’t be happier to have them as part of the studio.

So everyone say hello to Lily & Non 🖤
You’re definitely going to be seeing a lot more of them.
