A Personal Reflection ❤️

Sometimes, as reflexologists, our work becomes much more personal than we ever expected.

When you support someone through illness, treatments, difficult days, and moments of uncertainty, a connection naturally grows. You get to know not only the person who comes for their treatment, but something of their story, their hopes, their fears and the people they love.

Losing a client to terminal illness is incredibly personal. It is a reminder that behind every appointment is a real person and a life that has touched ours.

Although we are there in a professional capacity, we are still human. We care. We feel. We remember.

For those of us who work closely with people facing serious or terminal illness, there can be a quiet grief that isn't always talked about. We may not be family, but the loss can still hurt deeply.

Today I am thinking of all the clients we have had the privilege of supporting, especially those whose journeys have ended. 🕊️

It is an honour to have been part of their journey, even for a small part of it.
