Ingrown toenails occur when the side of the nail becomes curved and invades the skin along the side of the nail. This can cause increased redness, pain and swelling to the skin on the side of the nail.

Ingrown toenails do not usually go away without cutting the ingrown part out. However, in some cases, an ingrown toenail can go away on its own if a small piece is trimmed out of the corner.

If you have an ingrown nail causing pain or discomfort, give us a call on 01443 879396 - our Podiatrists can help!

Using the latest technology, the Gaitscanner calculates your average foot strikes over multiple steps to show exactly how you are weight bearing through your foot. This helps to make accurate bespoke orthotics to your exact specifications and to offload painful and heavy loaded areas of the feet.

Custom orthotics are excellent for optimising gait, optimising athletic performance and injury prevention for sports such as football, running, golf or skiing.

Insoles have a wide range of benefits and can be extremely helpful for foot complaints such Plantar Fasciitis and foot arthritis.

We use the current ‘go-to’ technology used by Team GB!!

A gait scan is a diagnostic tool used by healthcare professionals to assess the way you walk or run.

During a gait scan, you typically walk or run on a specialised mat that contains pressure sensors. These sensors measure the pressure distribution and timing of your foot strikes as you move.

The data collected is then analysed by a computer program, which produces a visual representation of your gait pattern. This analysis helps identify any abnormalities or imbalances in your walking pattern, which can be useful for determining if custom-made orthotics would be an appropriate treatment option for you.

You may want to see a Podiatrist for advice and treatment if you have painful feet, thickened or discoloured toenails, cracks or cuts in the skin, growths such as warts and verrucas, scaling or peeling on the soles or any other foot-related problem.

Even if your feet are generally in good condition, you might consider having a single session of Podiatry.

Keep your feet healthy & get them checked by a Podiatrist.
