Hi I am Farmer Chris Moss — a tattooist by trade, a farmer by nature, and a builder of things that last. What I do sits at the crossroads of hard work, creativity, tradition, and independence. I live and work with my hands, whether that’s guiding a tattoo machine, fixing tools, working land, or shaping ideas into something solid and meaningful.
Tattooing is my craft and my calling. Under the banner of K2 Bodyart, I work as a professional tattoo artist with decades of experience, grounded in strong fundamentals: clean lines, solid composition, readable designs, and artwork that holds up over time. I respect tattoo history, traditional flash, and the discipline of the trade, but I’m not stuck in the past. I adapt, evolve, and reinterpret — blending classic tattoo values with modern influences, personal symbolism, and bold visual storytelling. Every tattoo I make is designed to belong on skin, to age well, and to mean something to the person wearing it.
My studio reflects who I am: honest, practical, and personal. It’s not about ego or trends — it’s about trust, craftsmanship, and doing the job properly. I work closely with clients, translating their stories, struggles, humour, and values into designs that feel true rather than generic. From black and grey realism to strong illustrative work, from clean outlines to high-contrast tattooable art, I approach each piece with intent and respect for the medium.
Alongside tattooing, farming is part of my identity, not a costume. The land, the machinery, the seasons, and the rhythm of real work shape how I think and create. Farming teaches patience, resilience, problem-solving, and humility — the same qualities that make a good tattooist. Tractors, tools, barns, and open fields aren’t just background details; they’re symbols of self-reliance and effort. I believe in earning results, not shortcuts.
Animals are a constant in my life, especially dogs. They represent loyalty, protection, instinct, and companionship — qualities I value deeply. Whether working, creating, or just getting through the day, they’re part of my world and my grounding force. That connection often finds its way into my artwork and personal branding, because it’s honest and lived, not manufactured.
I’m also a builder of ideas and visuals beyond skin. I create artwork, concepts, and designs that merge rural life with tattoo culture — a mix of grit, humour, symbolism, and pride in who I am and where I come from. I don’t separate my creative life from my real life; they feed each other. Farming informs my tattooing. Tattooing sharpens my creativity. Both demand discipline, consistency, and respect for the tools in your hands.
At my core, I stand for independence, hard work, and authenticity. I don’t chase trends or approval. I focus on doing solid work, being reliable, and leaving things better than I found them — whether that’s a tattoo, a piece of land, a design, or a reputation. What I build is rooted, practical, and personal. No nonsense. No shortcuts.
