People living with diabetes, poor circulation or reduced sensation may be at greater risk of foot complications.

⚠️ Remember to:
✨ Check your feet daily for cuts, blisters, swelling or colour changes.
✨ Keep your skin clean and moisturised, avoiding between the toes.
✨ Wear well-fitting footwear.
✨ Never ignore a new wound, redness, warmth or swelling.

💚 If you have diabetes or reduced circulation, seek professional advice promptly about any new foot concerns. Don't wait for pain, as you may not feel an injury.

Nail discolouration can happen for several reasons, including nail polish staining, trauma, fungal infections or other underlying health conditions.

🧐 Did you know? Changes in nail colour, thickness or texture shouldn’t be ignored.

✨ Top tip: If you notice a new or unexplained change, especially a dark line or mark, get it checked by a healthcare professional.

If you love having your nails done, make sure you choose a qualified nail technician who knows what to look for and can spot any changes in your natural nails.

Regular checks are important, so ensure your nail enhancements are removed or reduced safely when needed to assess the natural nail. Never ignore unusual discolouration, lifting or changes in nail condition! 💗

Hi, I'm Courtney 👋🏻 A Nail Technician & Beauty Therapist with 12+ years of experience, as well as a Foot Health Practitioner for the past 3 years. Over the years, I’ve built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in all things nails & foot health — from creating beautiful, feel-good nails 💅🏼 to helping with more complex concerns such as corns, callus, thickened nails and other foot health issues. 🦶🏼

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at the gym, out walking or curled up with a good book! 🏋🏼‍♀️🥾📚

My goal is to make every appointment feel comfortable, welcoming and completely judgement-free, while making sure everything is clean, hygienic and professional. I also love taking the time to explain exactly what treatment you’re having and why, so you always feel confident and looked after. 💗

A little reminder about appointments 🤍

Lately, I’ve had an influx of no-show appointments, and I just want to take a moment to explain why my cancellation and rescheduling policy is so important.

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you. I turn away other clients and plan my schedule around the appointments booked. When someone doesn’t show up or cancels at the last minute, that appointment time often cannot be filled, which means a loss of both time and income.

I completely understand that life happens and plans can change. That’s why I simply ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Please remember:

• Cancellations or rescheduling less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit.
• No-shows without communication will forfeit their deposit and may be required to make an additional payment before booking again.
• Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.

This policy isn’t in place to be difficult or punitive. It’s there to protect my time, my business, and other clients who are waiting for appointments.

I truly appreciate everyone who respects my time and communicates when plans change. Your consideration makes such a difference 🤍
