What’s inside your ‘Mental Wellbeing Box’? 🎁✨

At DIAL, we’ve been sharing the items that spark positive memories, bring us comfort, and protect our peace. Creating a mental wellbeing box is a simple, tangible way to anchor yourself when things feel overwhelming.

👉 Watch the video to hear Jeff walk us through what’s inside his!

This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding everyone that good mental health starts with talking, listening, and supporting one another in our communities. This year’s theme, “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change”, highlights why sharing our authentic stories matters. Open conversations make a difference, especially when we take the time to truly listen to what others are experiencing. (Mental Health Foundation).

What’s one item that brings you joy or comfort that you’d put in your box? Let us know in the comments! 👇

🚶‍♀️ Have you ever tried Total Bodywalking? 🚶‍♂️

Our Community Connector, Claire, recently joined a free session run by the Move More Physical Activity team at Mapplewell Library - and she gave it a huge thumbs up!

Here’s what Claire had to say about her experience:

💬 "The session was an hour long, covering about 8,000 steps on flat terrain and gravel. The staff and volunteers were incredibly supportive, guiding us with the poles every step of the way. It was fun, engaging, and great for mental health - plus a surprisingly good upper body workout! And to top it off, there was tea, coffee, and biscuits at the end." ☕️🍪

Interested in trying it out?
