Please stop say this phrase 🤦

This is for the man who has lost himself. The one who knows he needs to do something — but can't take that first step.
I'm doing something a little different — and let me be straight with you about what this is and what it isn't.
I'm offering one completely free place on my coaching programme. Two full months of 1-to-1 personal training in Barnsley (Royston), at no cost to you whatsoever.
I'm calling it the Steve Fox Coaching Scholarship.
This is NOT a freebie. This is NOT for someone who fancies giving it a go. If you're not willing to graft, please don't apply.
This is for a man who has been struggling with his mental health.
Someone who has had a rough time. Someone who has maybe lost himself along the way — his confidence, his motivation, his sense of who he is. Someone who knows he needs to do something but hasn't been able to take that first step.
I know exactly what that feels like. Because I've been there.
I've had to rebuild myself from the ground up. And exercise was a massive part of that. Not just physically — mentally. It gave me structure, purpose, and a reason to show up for myself every single day. It changed everything for me.
Now I want to give that to someone else.
The only thing I ask in return is that you're willing to put the work in and allow me to document your journey honestly — progress updates, photos, short videos. Your real story, told your way. Nothing you're not comfortable with.
This place is for someone who is genuinely ready to change. Not just thinking about it. Actually ready.
If that's you — drop a comment below and I'll message you directly with the details.
One place. The right man. No passengers.

I've been away for a while.

I needed to take some time out to get myself sorted — and I have. I came back stronger, clearer, and more focused than ever. And now I'm ready to help other people do the same.

I'm opening up a small number of spots for 1-to-1 personal training.

But I want to be straight with you — I'm not taking everyone on.

I only work with people on a monthly basis. No one-off sessions, no pay as you go. That's not me being difficult — it's because real change doesn't happen in a single session. It happens when you show up consistently, week after week. That's what I'm here for.

If you're genuinely ready to commit — to yourself, to the process, and to showing up — send me a message. Let's have a proper chat first, no pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about where you're at and whether we're a good fit.

Spots are limited. If you're ready, reach out. 💪

So June is Mens mental health awareness month so I am going to give you a few things that help me with my my mental health.

1. Work on your physical health and diet as you need to look after the body you live in. You start feeling fitter and stronger physically it will help you feel mentally stronger too.

2. Push yourself out of your comfort zone, get used to doing hard s**t and life becomes easier. Life is not easy and you need to build up a resilliance to it and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone will help you do that.

3. Get rid of the fu***ng energy vampires in your life. You know the ones that are constantly bitching and moaning about their problems but not doing anything about them. The ones that are only there when they want something but are no where to be seen when you need them. Get rid.

4. Be unapologetically yourself and stop hiding yourself to make other people feel comfortable. If people do not like you they are not your people.

5. Stop people pleasing, it forces you to sacrifice your own boundaries, if you do not want to do something, do not do it.

6. Learn to say "No" to things that do not serve you.

7. Tell people to f**k off more. Seriously, stop putting up with s**t from s**tty people.

8. F**k em. The Mel Robbins "Let Them" book and theory has become popular but I have had my own "F**k em" theory for years. If people do not want to include you or don't call you "F**k em".

9. Know you are not on your own. Men in particular have a habit of not asking for help and trying to do things on their own. Do not be afraid to ask for help.

To anyone struggling with their mental health, it's hard, I know first hand how hard it can be but there are better days out there.

Do not give up my DM's are always open

My six week challenge with Barnsley Barbell is just about done. But I will talk more about that on Sunday when I do my final weigh in.
In this video I wanted to talk about the importance of taking a step back when you need it and why being a bit selfish sometimes is a good thing 🙂
