This page is managed by Barnsley’s Special Educational and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS). Its purpose is to create an openly accessible space to support local families through sharing knowledge, resources, tips and advice as well as enabling families to come together and support each other. We have created a set of values to help guide and support you when interacting on this page with the aim of making it as safe and positive an experience for everyone.

Our families all have different lived experiences and will reflect that through their interaction, no one should demean or belittle anyone’s individual interaction on this page as part of their engagement with the service. Inappropriate, offensive and abusive comments will be deleted, and individuals will be blocked / reported if deemed necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of others.
