I get it, nobody wants to hear they’ve got months to wait for an appointment, but trust me, those months come round quicker than you think!

I get messages like this more often than you’d imagine, from clients wishing they’d just booked when they first enquired!

And there’s a reason I always encourage you to get booked in early. I’d much rather you wait for an artist you trust than rush into something as important as permanent makeup.

This client returned after 2½ years with barely any pigment remaining, and this is exactly what I love to see!

Semi-permanent makeup should gradually soften and fade, rather than leaving behind heavily saturated, blurred brows or unwanted colour changes.

Trends change, techniques evolve, and your preferences might change too!

Because her brows had faded so beautifully, I was able to create a completely fresh set without fighting against old pigment.

Anyone can show you a beautiful set of lips straight off the needle. But what happens when all that initial colour disappears?

That’s where the real skill comes in.

Look at the difference between the before and healed photos here. We’ve not completely changed her lips, we’ve worked WITH her natural colour to create more definition, warmth and an even tone.

And that’s something I think people often misunderstand about lip blush. We’re not trying to recreate lipstick. We’re implanting pigment into living skin, and that skin has its own undertone which will influence the final result. 👄

I’m never offended when someone tells me my treatments are too expensive. Everyone has different budgets and that’s absolutely fine.

But I think it’s important to understand exactly what you’re paying for when it comes to permanent makeup.

There’s so much more involved than simply tattooing a pair of brows.

The consultation, skin knowledge, pigment selection, technique and understanding of how those brows will look in years to come are all part of the treatment.

And whilst price doesn’t always reflect skill, I do believe investing in an artist who understands all of these things is incredibly important.

If you feel like your brows just don’t do anything for your face… this is what a little bit of shape can do 👀

So many of my clients don’t want big, bold brows. They just want to stop pencilling them in every morning and feel like their brows actually frame their face.

That’s exactly what we’ve done here.

Nothing drastic. Nothing heavy.

Just a soft, subtle shape that frames her eyes and makes such a difference to her whole face 😍

Demo model results 💋

Jess was my demo model for my recent Lip Blush Beginners Course, giving my students the chance to watch the full process from start to finish.

She already had a gorgeous natural shape, so this was all about enhancing what was already there — adding definition, balancing the colour and giving her lips that little bit more pop without changing her.

The colour looks bold immediately after treatment, but once healed this will soften down beautifully into a much more natural wash of colour.

A perfect example for my students to see the whole process in real life — consultation, colour choice, pre-draw and treatment 🤍
