On Monday, I had the pleasure of attending the very first Injector Connect & Exchange, organised by the lovely 💜

It was a fantastic day hosted at the gorgeous with Nurse Jayne.
I also caught up with fellow nurse Michel from .all.aesthetics

The day was all about sharing knowledge, exchanging tips and tricks, and learning from one another as we took turns treating each other.

I always find these networking and educational days so valuable. Aesthetics is an ever-evolving industry, and I believe that continuing to learn, develop our skills and build confidence is essential to providing the best possible care for our patients.

A huge thank you to Teresa for organising such a great event, to Jayne for hosting us, and to everyone who made the day so enjoyable! 🥰

Laser tattoo removal takes more than one appointment, and every tattoo responds differently.

How quickly pigment fades depends on several factors, including the colour and density of the ink, how deeply it was placed, the age of the tattoo and whether it was professionally or amateurly applied. Some tattoos respond relatively quickly, while others need a much longer course.

The same applies to permanent makeup, particularly brows that have changed colour over time. This is why assessment comes first. We can look at the pigment properly, talk through what’s realistic and give you a clearer idea of the treatment plan before you commit.

The most expensive treatment is often the one you end up paying for to correct.

Price will always be part of the decision, but with injectable treatments it should never be the only one. You’re also choosing the person assessing your face, deciding whether treatment is appropriate, selecting the right product and technique, and knowing what to do if something doesn’t go to plan.

That level of judgement comes from years of clinical experience, training, and a solid understanding of anatomy.

It also means being prepared to tell you when less is enough, when a different treatment would be better, or when I wouldn’t treat at all.
