We’re excited to introduce our new diabetes screening service, using innovative technology that allows us to assess your average blood glucose levels (HbA1c) quickly and conveniently in the pharmacy.
Traditionally, HbA1c testing required a blood sample to be sent away for laboratory analysis. Thanks to new advances in testing technology, our trained team can now provide a simple screening test in less than 10 minutes, helping to identify your risk of diabetes and supporting earlier intervention where needed.

You may be at higher risk of developing Type 2 diabetes if you have any of the following risk factors:
* Obesity
* Family history of type 2 diabetes
* South Asian, Black African, African-Caribbean, or Middle Eastern ethnicity
* Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS)
* Hypertension or cardiovascular disease
* Previous gestational diabetes
