What a gorgeousssss transformation 🤌🏼
This lovely lady had her lips done around 8 years ago, that’s right, YEARS!! She was told by the original injector she could not dissolve these 🚩, this may be due to lack of knowledge and training, or being unable to access the products needed -
Hyaluronidase is a prescription only medication, if your injector is not a prescriber or working closely alongside one they will not be able to dissolve any filler. This is an issue for elective dissolving (lumps, bumps, migration etc).. but a SERIOUS problem if an emergency complication was to occur and can result in permanent scarring, necrosis (tissue death) and even blindness if injected in certain areas.
A different injector attempted to dissolve this filler at a later date and unfortunately was unsuccessful again possibly for similar reasons.
It took just one round of dissolving with the correct knowledge and products to remove this filler and a second session to refill.
Most people will assume that all injectors are complications trained and have access to emergency drugs, however a very high number do not. Please always double check and don’t be afraid to ask questions as from the outside it is impossible to tell.
And, if you are an injector PLEASE invest in good quality complications and dissolving training before touching a needle! There are also lots of products from non UK pharmacies floating round you can buy online with no prescription however many of these not only don’t work, but we have absolutely no idea what is in them or the effects and once they are injected you may not be able to get rid of them.
