White feathers are often associated with peace, hope, and mesages from past loved ones. I often find white feathers outside the Amethyst treatment room that I pick up and place around my mirror altar. Sometimes, if it's a bigger feather I pop it in a plant pot.

Many people believe that white feathers are a gentle reminder that we are supported, protected, and never truly alone. 💜

Whether viewed as signs from loved ones, angels, or simply meaningful moments in nature, white feathers can encourage us to trust the journey and embrace hope with an open heart.

Have you got a primary school aged child who would like the opportunity to make some noise, explore crystals and then chill? Then this is for them. During this hour session you and your child will have the opportunity to gently play the sound instruments, explore and learn about crystals before chilling out with a short soundbath.

The amazing Tabitha has been working with children for over 30 years so is excited to combine her Holistic skills with her passion for children's wellbeing.

The investment for this opportunity is £15 for one adult and up to two children. For safety reasons additional children will need to be accompanied by an additional adult.

Another question I get asked is are your treatments available for children?

Yes of course, absolutely they are. When I am not working as a Complimentary Therapist I work with children and have done for 3/4s of my life, of course my treatments are available to children and I have had many children clients. Parents are expected to remain with their children particularly for massage.

I offer 30 minute of the following for £30.

Massage
Reflexology
Reiki
Crystal Therapy

I also offer children's Pamper Parties which include a gift bag and can include one of the following activities - making Facial Products, a themed game or a themed activity in addition to a treatment.

Children are a joy and a pleasure to work with and their energy is always welcome.

🧚‍♀️ Flower Faeries - as a child one of my most favourite toys was my flower Faeries, I saw no reason why not then and still see no reason why not, for the Fae to exist and live in our gardens.

Elderflower is a tree that is sacred to the Faery realm, legend says that it is considered a portal to the Fae realm and that if you sit beneath an Elder on mid summers eve you may become transported to the Faery realm forever. The scent of the Elder blossom is said to attract the King and Queen of the Faery Kingdom and that if granted permission by the Dryad Elder Mother you can carve a flute out of an Elder branch to summon the Fae when you need them. It is advisable to leave an offering of silver or milk before Foraging from an Elder tree or you may bring bad luck upon yourself.

Blackberry is thought by Celtic tradition to be a boundary between the Fae and human world, particularly if a bramble is rooted at each end forming an archway. As such it is believed that passing poorly children or animals back and forth 3 times through the archway will cure them....please watch out for the thorns though and remember to leave an offering of Cinnamon and sugar to appease the Fae, particularly if Foraging the fruit or chopping them back. It is also thought to be unlucky to forage fruit after Samhain as it is said the devil has urinated on it!

Mallow is also thought to be sacred to the Faeries. It is said that if you found a rock near Mallow and looked inside the rock you would find a Fae Palace. The flowers of Mallow are used in Fae majick to create love spells and can be worn to bring protection against the darker workings of mischievous Fae. It is said that Mallow nuts are the equivalent of cheese wheels to the Fae and often enjoyed at times of feasting and celebration.

💆‍♂️ "Are your treatments available to men?"

Is question I've often been asked over the years is:

And my answer is always:

"Of course! All of my treatments are available to men who are well behaved." 😊

Because men need massage too.

In fact, most of my massage clients are men — hardworking men in manual labour jobs whose bodies take a physical toll day after day or hardworking men leaning over a computer all day. ( other professions apply, these are just the two most common amongst my customers) Looking after your body isn't a luxury or only for women; it's an investment in your wellbeing irrespective of your gender.

I also have male clients who enjoy the benefits of Reiki and Reflexology.

Admitedly, over the nearly 10 years I've been a Massage and Holistic Therapist, I've received some rather colourful enquiries from men about my massage services! So just to be clear, I offer a professional, therapeutic service to anyone who can behave appropriately and respectfully.

Well-behaved men who genuinely need massage or any of my other beneficial treatments are every bit as welcome as any other gender.

Our bodies work hard to take care of us, so it's only fair that we take care of our bodies too.
