Tattooed by: Jason Riley. Andy’s an outdoorsman and a keen windsurfer, so this one was all about capturing the places he feels most at home. 🌊

Mountains, open water, tropical coastline and of course the windsurfer. All brought together as one continuous landscape that flows around the arm rather than looking like a collection of separate images.

Loved building this one around him and his lifestyle.

Tattooed by Jason Riley. Tattooed by Jason. The names were already there from years ago, but time had taken its toll, faded, tired and ready to be brought back to life.
So rather than working around the old tattoo, I refreshed the existing lettering and built the new piece around it, adding the lion and surrounding detail to turn the whole back into something that feels complete again.
A big transformation without losing what was already important to him.
Old ink revived. New work added. One complete back piece.

Tattooed by Jason Riley. A custom black & grey landscape piece built around mountains, pines, open water and a compass, bringing that sense of getting away from it all into something permanent. ⛰️
Really enjoyed creating this one and making the whole scene flow naturally around the leg.

The goal here was to completely lose the old piece while creating something that actually belonged on the shoulder. Two black & grey roses, designed to wrap with the shape of the body rather than just sitting over what was already there.
Safe to say the old tattoo has disappeared.

Tattooed by Jason Riley. This one was about far more than just filling a gap in a sleeve.
The idea was centred around dementia and that feeling of someone becoming trapped within their own mind. My client came in with a concept featuring someone behind bars inside an eye, but rather than copy it literally, I wanted to take the meaning behind it and turn it into something that worked better as a tattoo.
I kept the important symbolism. The eye, fragmented jigsaw pieces, forget-me-nots and broken sense of time. Then rebuilt the composition around the tattoos already on his arm.
Clouds, soft background shading and a few freehand elements helped tie old and new together so it reads as one sleeve rather than a collection of separate pieces.
A meaningful subject, but also a good example of why sometimes the best tattoo comes from taking the original idea and pushing it a little further.

Katy gave me full creative freedom with this one. Two back to back sessions to get the linework down on her floral and geometric leg sleeve.
No micromanaging, just trust in the process and letting me desigh' something that actually Ust. flows with the leg.
Still got all the black and grey shading to come, but I'm already loving where this is heading.
