I’m a millennial and proud but the world of wellness made us distrust the simple fuel that is bread!!

No carbs before Marbs every April - June even if you were going to Ibiza or Bognor for your girls trip

Now we are in our 30s/40s I still hear “without the bun” or “I’m not eating bread at the moment” and the new fad about how many ingredients are in the bread.

Unless you are eating a loaf a day pick your favourite bread source and enjoy it.

For me the simple pleasure of Peanut Butter on a slice of Tiger Bread now and again makes sure my lifts are strong and my words aren’t nasty

YOU NEED SPF IN THE UK

Unpopular opinion SPF is more important than supplementing with collagen

UK sun WILL damage your skin.

I know it doesn’t show its face often, so we want to soak it all in.

But UVA and UVB rays don’t care about the British weather.

You can burn on a cloudy day. Full stop.

Whether you’re moving through yoga classes, walking the dogs, or just existing outdoors, you’re getting daily exposure. And daily + daily + daily = sun damage.

Your skin deserves the same protection you’d give it on holiday. SPF 30+ is non-negotiable.

✨ Use it daily
✨ Reapply every 2 hours outside
✨ Don’t skip the cloudy days
✨ Future you will be grateful

• Stop falling for the next influencer vitamin push (collagen! hormone blends! no thanks)
• Get your energy back — like, actually back
• Sleep properly
• Wear the shorts
• Jump on the trampoline without a second thought about your pelvic floor

Half term mantra? Fruit first. Fresh fruit breakfast, then the day begins. Simple.

In the heat we’ve been moving more and eating less — ice poles on repeat, and honestly? No complaints. But a hangry mum or a hangry kid ruins memories faster than anything, so yes, the donut happened. The donut was necessary.

Here’s how I think about food for me and my daughter: take a 24-hour snapshot. If it’s more whole foods than joy foods, you’re doing brilliantly. That’s it. That’s the whole thing.
