🌿 Celebrate International Day of Yoga with Infinite Harmony 🌿

Yoga isn't about touching your toes, standing on your head, or being flexible.

It's about finding ways to move, breathe, rest and reconnect that work for your body and your life.

To celebrate International Day of Yoga on 21 June, everyone attending an Infinite Harmony class during International Day of Yoga Week will receive a complimentary guest pass to share with someone who is new to Infinite Harmony.

Know someone who's always been curious about yoga but never quite taken the first step?

This could be the perfect opportunity to invite them along.

I'm also offering a special International Day of Yoga rate on 75-minute Yoga Therapy and Private Yoga sessions throughout the summer.

Because yoga really is for every body.

I look forward to practising with you soon 💚

A little reminder that Infinite Harmony is now teaching in a number of lovely spaces across Basingstoke and the surrounding area ✨

Over the past few years the community has quietly grown from a handful of classes into a mixture of weekly yoga classes, adaptive and chair yoga, yoga therapy, Yoga Nidra, private sessions and wellbeing work within community and residential settings.

Everything I offer is grounded in an inclusive, non-performative approach to yoga. You do not need to be flexible, experienced or “good at yoga” to join in. Classes are always adaptable, supportive and welcoming.

You can currently find me teaching at:

📍 The Open Practice
📍 Lychpit Hall
📍 Sycamore Hall
📍 Chineham Village Hall
📍 Fitter Body Ladies, Basingstoke
📍 Rowan Lodge Residential Home
📍 Oak Lodge Residential Home
📍 Roman House

Current offerings include:

🧘 Yoga for Everybody
🪑 Adaptive & Chair Yoga
🌿 Yoga Therapy
✨ Yoga Nidra
💛 Private 1:1 sessions
🏡 Wellbeing sessions for community groups & care settings

Thank you to everyone who continues to come along, recommend classes to friends, or simply quietly support Infinite Harmony in the background. It genuinely means a lot 🤍

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted properly on here.

Partly because life has been full, partly because I’ve been quietly working away behind the scenes teaching, supporting clients, running classes, and developing something new that I’m finally ready to share a little more openly.

From 27th May, I’ll be starting a new weekly Wednesday evening class called Adaptive Yoga 🌿

This class has grown out of a pilot programme over the last few months and has been created for people who want a more supported, adaptable approach to movement and yoga.

We begin seated, explore gentle mobility and breath work, gradually move into supported standing work, and there’s always choice throughout. Chairs are part of the practice rather than an afterthought.

It’s especially designed for people who:
• feel stiff or less mobile
• are rebuilding confidence
• are returning to movement after illness, burnout, injury, or time away
• find many yoga classes too fast, intense, or performative

Mats and props are provided, although you’re welcome to bring your own too.

Wednesdays • 6pm • The Open Practice

📌 New here? Here’s how my weekly mat yoga classes (and memberships) work

I teach two weekly mat yoga classes with the same friendly, adaptive, non-performative approach - just with different energy and timing.

Some people come to one. Many enjoy both as a weekly rhythm.

🌙 Wednesday – Midweek Recharge (7.30–8.30pm)
📍 The Open Practice

A slower, softer evening class to stretch, unwind and release the tension that builds up during the week.

Expect calm, supportive movement, plenty of options, and breathwork to help steady your nervous system.

There’s no pressure to perform - you’re encouraged to work with the body you have on the day.

You’ll leave feeling looser, calmer and more settled.

☀️ Sunday – Reawaken & Prepare (09.30 - 10.30)
📍 Lychpit Hall

A brighter Sunday morning class to gently wake up the body and mind and help you feel ready for the week ahead.

The practice is adaptive and non-performative, with a bit more lift and momentum - building warmth, clarity and connection without rushing or pushing.

You’ll leave feeling more awake, grounded and organised.

Many of us then wander next door for coffee and breakfast at The Street Bakeshop, at the Courtyard ☕🥐 (purely optional, but a lovely way to finish).

✨ You can absolutely do both
Some students come on Sundays to prepare for the week ahead, and Wednesdays to recharge and release tension midweek.
They work beautifully together - same values, different energy.

💛 Membership options available
If you come regularly, monthly memberships are available and can be used across both classes - a simple, supportive way to build yoga into your week without having to re-book each time.

👉 Booking details and membership info are in the comments.

I absolutely love helping people move with my chair yoga classes.

I teach 2 public scheduled chair yoga classes twice a week and private sessions in residential homes. Currently this is in Oak Lodge, part of the Forest Care Ltd group and Roman House which is a home for adults with special needs.

If you would like to bring adapted yoga into your setting, please get in touch.

Our Oak Lodge residents enjoyed a relaxing seated yoga session with Vicky, bringing gentle movement, mindfulness and plenty of smiles to the day. 🧘‍♀️

I have always been interested in seasonal changes and the 1st–2nd of February marks Imbolc. This is an ancient seasonal festival that sits halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.

Imbolc represents light returning, renewal, and new beginnings.
It’s a time associated with the first signs of life – snowdrops pushing through frozen ground, which always make me smile, and the return of longer days.

This marking of the seasons isn’t about making dramatic changes, its about noticing what’s beginning to stir and offering it warmth, care, and patience.

✨ How might Imbolc show up in your world right now?
• A small intention rather than a big goal
• Creating space instead of adding more
• Rest, nourishment, and gentle movement
• Listening to your body before pushing ahead

I like to see wellbeing as cyclical – there are seasons for rest, seasons for growth, and seasons that sit softly in between.

Imbolc reminds us that beginnings can be quiet, slow, and deeply meaningful 🤍
