Welcome to Forget-me-not Tattoos my name is Lindsey and I hold an honours degree in Fine Art Painting and Art History from Southampton University. I once answered an advert asking for a lady that loves to draw and ended up running a tattoo studio in Malta. My clients tend to come to me for softer, more elegant tattoos but I enjoy tattooing anything that makes the owner of the tattoo feel more beau

tiful. My studio is a converted Mercedes Ambulance. It's really important to me that my clients enjoy every aspect of their tattoo experience and a uber cool studio environment really sets the tone. My opening times are quite varied so consultations and bookings are by appointment only. Evening and weekend appointments are available on request. This might be helpful for anyone who’s been thinking about covering an old tattoo

A misconception I come across is that every cover up tattoo has to be large, dark and bold and sometimes that is the best option.. but not always!

Other options:
🧚🏻‍♂️Rework (redo lines, re colour, add or change elements but keeping the original)

🐦‍🔥Blast over (covering with a more considered design that still allows elements of the old to be seen)

🌿Camouflage (concealing the old and drawing attention away with a new focal point)

I used camouflage to created this delicate fine line lily and moon tattoo

If you’ve been putting off asking because you assumed your only option was a huge dark cover up, it might be worth a conversation to ask.

I love that matching tattoos don't have to be exactly the same. 🌿
Whether it's for a partner, best friend or family, I think it's so special when each person gets something unique while still sharing the same idea.

These minimal birth flower tattoos are a good example of that. ✨

Wildflowers, botanical designs and delicate fine line tattoos are always a joy to create, and I'd love to do more pieces like these!

Poisonous plants flash designs🌿
I’ve always been drawn to the darker side of nature, and my work is less focused on Roses and Peonies! I prefer plants with a mysterious reputation, for instance:
🌿 Giant Hogweed - not to be touched! can cause severe skin burns when its sap reacts with sunlight.

🦊 Foxglove - beautiful woodland flower but highly toxic - although it has been used as medicine

🏹 Monkshood - once used on hunting arrows and woven into medieval folklore.

🌺 Rhododendron - An invasive species found all over the country, toxic to humans and native plants not allowing other wildlife to grow.

🍇 Deadly Nightshade - known for its poisonous berries and deep roots in witches folklore.

🌾 Lilly of the Valley - delicate, sweet smell that hides a toxic secret!

These plants may be dangerous, but they are also beautiful and steeped in history

A couple of bees from the weekend 🐝 the first was created as a replica of the client’s sister’s original bee design.
