My at home facial routine is basic and based on evidence .

SPF during the day - Stops the collagen break down and improves the life of our existing collagen .

Tretinoin - Is a prescription topical vitamin A derivative . It binds with special receptors on your skin and causes the cells to grow and mature resulting in healthier skin and reduced wrinkles .

Reduced hormone levels, especially oestrogen levels and androgen imbalance as a result , causes changes not only in the skin at a cellular level but also changes in the circulation of the skin.

1️⃣ Appearance of fine lines- sandpaper skin due to lack of collagen and elastin .

2️⃣ Rashes and allergies due to broken skin berrier and reduced circulation .

3️⃣ Roascea and Acne due to androgen imbalance causes increased oil and inflammation in the skin

4️⃣ Pigmentation due to reduced cell turn over , years of sun exposure and lack of collagen .

and more .

However the right skin care and life style approach can help significantly.

1️⃣ Daily use of SPF reduces the collagen break down and cellular damage .

2️⃣ Tretinoin - improves skin barrier and increases cell turn over along with collagen production .

3️⃣ Viramin C - protects from free radical damage and also acts as a sun barrier .
