⨠Lesions That May Be Suitable for CryoPen Treatment â¨
CryoPen uses a precise jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and remove many benign skin lesions. Every lesion should be assessed by a qualified practitioner before treatment.
Common lesions that may be treated include:
⢠Skin tag â Soft, flesh-coloured growths commonly found on the neck, underarms, eyelids, and body folds.
⢠Common wart â Rough, raised lesions caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
⢠Seborrhoeic keratosis â Waxy, âstuck-onâ brown or black growths that become more common with age.
⢠Cherry angioma â Small, bright red vascular spots that are harmless but can be removed for cosmetic reasons.
⢠Solar lentigo â Flat brown sun spots caused by long-term UV exposure.
⢠Actinic keratosis â Certain superficial sun-damaged lesions may be suitable, following appropriate clinical assessment.
⢠Plantar wart â Viral warts on the soles of the feet.
