I’ve debated whether or not I was going to post anything but it feels right to at least give a heads up on what is going to be a very difficult moment for my kids and I. I’ve spoke about it with so many of my clients over the past year so a lot of you know I’ve tried to prolong this as long as I could but the time has come where I’ve had to make the painful decision to put my handsome boy to sleep this coming Monday. Judging by how me and the kids have been the past couple days about it I know we’re gonna really struggle with this one so replies will be slow or not there as I’m going to take a wee minute off to be with my boy and help my kids cope with the grief of loosing what is essentially their brother so please be patient with me.
Bruno’s a collie x German shepherd who’s 13 years old now and I’ve got to love him for 12 of those, I’ve had him longer than I’ve had my son and my kids don’t really know life without him. He’s the smartest but dumbest dog I’ve ever met, he’s absolute chaos and a complete ar****le (even the vets nickname him ar****le) but I’m chaos and a complete ar****le so he has probably been the perfect dog for me. The moment I saw his huge bat ears I knew I needed to adopt him and I’m so grateful I did. He’s wasn’t the easiest dog and impossible to train but he was the best protector that done a great job of being the security we needed, even more so this year. He’s brought me so much joy and the thought of life without him feels like I’m loosing one of my kids, I’ve never understood why people say it until now but pets really are like your children 🥲 I hope he finds the best toilet to drink out of and has an endless supply of bananas wherever his wee soul goes 💔
