Locala Health Visiting Kirklees Our team is made up of Health Visitors, Band 5 Staff Nurses, Child Development Practitioners, Student Health Visitors and the admin team.

We work with families with children under five years old to assess families health needs. We also Support families to make any changes they need to make to their health and lifestyle. We work in partnership with other services and agencies to help with: health and development of babi

es and children, parenting support, impact of a new baby in the family, emotional well being, and extra support in times of stress. ⚠️Product Recall for Toy-Like Baby Floats sold via TikTok.

The products present a risk of drowning as toy-like designs may mislead consumers into treating the product as a play item rather than a flotation-related product requiring constant adult supervision. This may increase the risk of misuse, overreliance on the product, reduced caregiver vigilance, unsafe play behaviour, instability, tipping, entrapment, or drowning.

The products have been recalled from customers by TikTok. The recall includes all “toy-like” baby floats sold via the marketplace. The marketplace has also prohibited the future listing or sale of any similar “toy-like” baby floats.

Anyone with these products should stop using the recalled products immediately and keep them out of reach of children. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress. ⚠️

Kiss the badge, not the baby. ⚽

If you’re a parent or carer to a newborn, that’s what you should consider telling visitors coming to watch the football with you this summer.

Babies have immature immune systems which means they’re more at risk of infections, especially in their first few weeks of life.

That’s why it’s important to remember THANKS: Think Hands And No KisseS.

Always remember to:

- Wash your hands before touching a baby
- Only kiss a new baby if you’re their parent or main carer

What we do recommend kissing though, is the badge on your shirt. It’s coming home! 💪
