💛 A heartfelt apology and thank you from The Crescent 💛
I’ve been reflecting a lot recently, and I wanted to share something openly with our wonderful community.
As many of you know, The Crescent has been closed since February 2025.
I’m deeply sorry that we weren’t able to continue supporting you in the way we always tried to. It has genuinely made me sad not to be there for the people and families who relied on us, especially through moments where connection matters most.
Our closure was ultimately due to illness, and I needed this year to properly recuperate, rest, and rebuild. It wasn’t an easy decision.
❤️ The Crescent has always been more than a community hub; it’s been a home, a safe space, and a little slice of magic for so many.
I want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has shown us kindness, understanding, and support during this time. Your messages, your memories, and your love for what we created together have meant more than you know.
And I want to be clear about one thing: The Crescent model is needed in every community. I’ve always believed that — and I still do. My mission now is to do everything I can to help make this happen wherever possible, in whatever way I can.
This past year, while healing, I’ve also been working on projects that align deeply with my purpose: supporting people, building impact, and helping others create spaces of belonging and magic — just like The Crescent once did.
Thank you again for walking this journey with me. The Crescent may be closed for now, but its spirit is very much alive — and so is the mission behind it.
With love and gratitude
💛
