We had a very busy week at Saxonwood - from cute encounters with Teddy, fun games and exercises, delicious foods and drinks, staff refresher trainings and appreciation- it truly was a week full of laughter and precious time spent together! What an amazing afternoon we have shared with our residents, staff and families, filled with laughter, lovely conversations and wonderful moments together. Everyone enjoyed a complimentary meal followed by a fun quiz, making it a truly special occasion for all involved. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our catering team and to Apetito for helping make the afternoon so memorable.

⚽🎨 We're looking forward to some football fun with a creative twist at Saxonwood, and you're invited! Celebrating National Care Home open Week, our ‘Palette to Pitch’ event is on Wednesday 17 June from 10.30am to 12pm. Residents and local students will be teaming up to design their own tabletop football games before going head-to-head in a friendly shootout.

There’ll be creativity, laughter and plenty of feel-good moments – come along, see the action and be part of something special 💛

Celebrating a Very Special 100th Birthday, our amazing June!!!
Residents, staff, and families came together to celebrate our wonderful resident’s 100th birthday with a truly memorable afternoon. The celebrations included lovely live entertainment, creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. She also received a very special birthday card from His Majesty the King, making the occasion even more remarkable. The afternoon continued with a delightful tea party, where everyone shared in the celebrations and enjoyed her favourite birthday cake. It was a beautiful occasion filled with warmth, happiness, and special memories for all.
