It’s never ideal to take on someone else’s work… but sometimes the best result comes from knowing when to take a step back before moving forward.

After some very determined negotiating over just how much dissolving I was allowed to do (👀 you know who you are 😜), my new client and I finally reached a compromise!

The goal was to find the right balance between stripping everything back to the beginning and preserving enough to avoid undoing the original reason for having the treatment in the first place.

I completely understand how difficult that decision can be. When you’re unhappy with previous work, it’s natural to want to erase it all—but that often comes with the fear of losing the features or shape you originally wanted.
