THE ANKH • PART 3 - THE FLOW OF LIFE FORCE
In Part 2 we looked at the Ankh as a possible map of Spirit moving into Matter.
Now let’s take that one step further.
What if the Ankh is not only something to be looked at...
What if its shape can also be contemplated as energy in motion?

In many spiritual traditions, the human being is understood as more than the physical body.
We are surrounded by and permeated with Life Force Energy.
Prana.
Chi.
Vital Force.
Spirit.
The Breath of Life.

Different traditions have given it different names, but the underlying idea is remarkably similar:
Life is energy flowing through form.
And when we look at the Ankh through this energetic lens, its shape becomes fascinating.
THE LOOP • THE FIELD OF SPIRIT
The upper loop can be contemplated as the unseen energetic field surrounding consciousness.
A continuous flow with no beginning and no end.
Energy moves outward...
circulates...
and returns.
This is beautifully reminiscent of what modern spiritual teachings often describe as the torus field, a flowing energetic field imagined as moving through and around the human body.
Not a straight line.
A circulation.
A continual exchange between the inner and outer worlds.
✨ Receiving.
Transforming.
Returning.
THE CENTRE • THE HEART OF THE FIELD
At the centre of the Ankh lies the meeting point.
Spirit above.
Matter below.
Polarity extending outward.
From an energetic perspective, this centre can be contemplated as the Heart Space, the place where different aspects of ourselves meet.
The physical.
The emotional.
The spiritual.
The visible and invisible.
The heart is more than a physical organ within spiritual traditions. It is often seen as the place of connection, coherence, compassion and inner knowing.
And perhaps symbolically, the centre of the Ankh reminds us that true balance begins here.

THE ARMS • ENERGY MOVING OUTWARD
The horizontal arms can represent energy extending into the world around us.
What we project.
What we receive.
Our relationship with others.
Our interaction with the Earth.

A SPIRITUAL DEEP DIVE Part 2
I have already shared with you some information on the Ankh Cross - the Key of Life — an ancient sacred symbol of life, soul and eternal existence.

But if we look deeper into its shape, the Ankh can also be contemplated as far more than a symbol...
It can be seen as a map of energy, creation and spiritual embodiment. ☥✨

Each part of the Ankh carries a deeper esoteric meaning:
☥ The Loop • The Eternal
The loop at the top can be seen as Spirit, Eternity, the Infinite, the Soul, and the Womb of Creation.
It has no true beginning and no end, reminding us of the eternal nature of consciousness and the unseen source from which all life emerges.
☥ The Centre • Creation Point
At the centre of the Ankh is the meeting place of realms.
This can be contemplated as the point where Spirit meets Matter — where the invisible begins to take form, where creation begins, and where divine energy moves into manifestation.
☥ The Arms • Polarity
The arms of the Ankh can represent duality and sacred balance.
Masculine and Feminine.
Light and Shadow.
Heaven and Earth.
Giving and Receiving.
Rather than division, they remind us that life is created through the union and balance of opposites.
☥ The Stem • Spirit into Matter
The long stem can be viewed as the descent of Spirit into the physical world.
It speaks of grounding, embodiment, incarnation and the soul’s journey into form.

From the eternal... into lived experience.
