That is me done for another year. I am now taking a break over Christmas and will be back on 6th January.

I want to thank every single one of you for trusting me with your piercings. I am forever grateful to you all. I hope everyone has a magical Christmas. My plan is too eat and sleep amd play with my grandson.

A couple of things to remember, especially with having piercings

Please check attachments are secure when cleaning. I can't do anything until I am back at the studio

Do not attempt putting rings or new jewelry in. Different metals and curves can irritate and cause swelling. I can't change anything until I am back in the studio.

If you have healing oral piercings do not share food from the same cutlery and avoid kissing family/friends. There is a higher infection risk as you see more people over the festive period.

Also be careful with hugging people, those pesky ear piercings like to get caught and snagged on hair and clothing.

Above all else please be safe, have fun, relax, and enjoy any time off that you may have.

Today is my 8 year anniversary piercing at Black Wold House of Ink!!

So much has happened in that time.

I got married,

I became a nanna.

We got through lockdown.

I have fostered over 110 small animals.

But more importantly I have met and pierced the most amazing people. Without all of you, I couldn't do what I love doing. And alot of you have been with me from the start. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate every single one of you. You made a dream possible and kept it going for 8 years and hopefully for many more years to come.

Sometimes I get a client come in and I get to choose what I do, how awesome is that? She said whatever I wanted. We talked through options, this ear isn't ideal for helix, but that rook was absolutely perfect for a double. I am so lucky to have amazing clients that put their trust in me. I am forever grateful to you all. Always implant grade titanium and internally threaded jewellery.

Mental health illness is something that a lot of us struggle with on a day to day basis either personally or with a loved one.
