🎓🛡️ Free MenB Vaccinations Available From 31st July 2026 at McGettigans 🛡️🎓
Meningococcal B (MenB) is a rare but serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and septicaemia, with symptoms that can develop very quickly.
As part of the Northern Ireland MenB vaccination programme, the vaccine is available for eligible young people. Individuals who:
✅ have a date of birth between 2 July 2007 to 1 July 2008
(the 25/26 academic school year 14 group, regardless of whether they still
attended school in year 14).
✅ are first time Higher Education or Residential Further Education
(HERFE) entrants in the academic year 2026-27, aged up to and
including 25yrs (born on or after 21 July 2001).
