While most cancer rates are decreasing, cases of endometrial cancer (also known as uterine or womb cancer) are actually rising. 📈 It is also being diagnosed in younger women than before. Despite these facts, knowledge about endometrial cancer is not high in the general population.

💁‍♀️ This June, let’s help change that!

These fantastic volunteers help patients manage the visible and emotional side effects of cancer treatment through practical workshops, covering skincare, makeup and grooming techniques — all aimed at boosting confidence and self-esteem.

🔶 SPOTTING THE SIGNS OF WOMB CANCER 🔶
June is Womb Cancer Awareness Month. Womb (endometrial) cancer is the most common gynaecological cancer — and early detection makes a real difference.

⚠️ Key symptom:
• Unexpected bleeding
• Bleeding after menopause (even once)
• Bleeding between periods
• Heavier or longer periods
• New bleeding on HRT

👉 Always get any post-menopausal bleeding checked.

🔍 Other symptoms
• Pelvic pain or discomfort
• Pain during s*x
• Unusual discharge (watery, pink, or with smell)
• Lump/swelling in lower abdomen
• Unexplained weight loss or fatigue
These may not be cancer — but it’s important to check.
