Fave combo for facial massage?

Jojoba, rosehip & rose absolute. 🌹

And it’s not just for the amazing scent… these 3 together are 👌 for the skin.

🌿 Jojoba isn’t actually an oil - its chemical makeup is similar to the natural sebum produced by human skin - so it absorbs easily & won’t clog pores - and helps nourish and balance the skin without feeling heavy.

🌿 Rosehip oil is packed with goodness to support soft, healthy-looking skin. It’s high in Vitamins A and C, is great for brightening skin tone & supports with fading scars and reducing signs of ageing.

🌹Rose absolute is an essential oil made from the fresh petals of the rose. As well as its benefits for emotional wellbeing, it is deeply hydrating and great for maturing skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties calm redness, while active compounds stimulate cell renewal to smooth fine lines and fade scars.

I am in complete awe of every single one of you… because I can confidently say I will never be one of you 🤣🙊

If you’re getting involved today, here are a few simple aromatherapy tips and tricks for pre and post run!

🌿 For that pre-run boost - energising oils like peppermint, eucalyptus or citrus oils - a few deep inhales can help awaken your senses and get you feeling ready to go

💜 Post-run recovery - peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender are your best friends after a long run — calming, soothing, and perfect for tired legs and bodies. Add a few drops to a bath or mix with a carrier oil for a gentle massage.

👣 Don’t forget those pavement-pounding feet! An Epsom salt soak or a simple self massage with tea tree and lavender can feel amazing after all those miles.

Whether you’re running a relay, in it for the long haul, or (like me) watching from the sidelines in amazement - enjoy the energy of the day & the sense of community that comes with it! 🙌🏽

Facial massage isn’t just about glowing skin (though that’s a lovely bonus ✨). It can help to:

✨ relax facial tension (especially around the jaw and forehead)
✨ support lymphatic drainage

🌿 Essential Oils for Spring 🌿

As the seasons begin to shift, our bodies and emotions often feel it before our minds do. Spring brings renewal - but also tiredness, restlessness and emotional clearing as we emerge from winter’s slower pace. These essential oils are beautiful allies for this time of year:

🌿 Bergamot

Bright, citrusy, and gently uplifting. Bergamot supports low mood, eases anxiety, and brings lightness when energy feels flat or heavy. Perfect for those “in between” days when winter hasn’t quite let go.

🌿 Geranium

A deeply balancing oil, emotionally and hormonally. Geranium supports nervous system regulation and helps restore equilibrium when you’re feeling scattered or overwhelmed. It’s grounding yet nurturing, ideal for seasonal transitions. One of my all time favourites for blending!

🌿 Lavender

A spring staple for a reason. Lavender calms the mind, soothes the body, and supports better sleep as longer days begin to shift our rhythms. Gentle, familiar and incredibly restorative.

🌿 Lemon

Fresh, cleansing, and energising. Lemon supports mental clarity, motivation, and emotional lightness—wonderful for spring cleaning your space and your mindset.

✨ How to Use Essential Oils at Home ✨

• Diffuser: Add 4-6 drops to water and diffuse to support mood, energy or relaxation
• Inhalation: Place 1 drop on a tissue, cup your hands, and breathe deeply
• Bath: Mix 3-5 drops with a carrier oil or milk before adding to warm bath water
• Massage: Dilute in a carrier oil (about 2 or 3 drops per tablespoon) and apply to shoulders, feet, or chest

Essential oils are a gentle way to support your body and emotions through seasonal change - helping you feel clearer, calmer and more connected as spring unfolds.
