35 trips around the sun today ☀️🎂

Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way:

• How you do anything is how you do everything.

• Boundaries aren’t selfish. They’re the foundation of a happy life.

• Don’t take life too seriously. Nobody you know will be here in 100 years

• Raising children is both the hardest and most beautiful thing you’ll ever do.

• Everyone has anxiety. The confident people are just better at carrying it.

• Don’t worry too much about what others think of you. Everyone’s too busy thinking about themselves.

• On the hardest days, remember you’ve survived 100% of your hard days so far.

• If you wouldn’t invite someone into your home, don’t invite them into your thoughts.

• Integrity matters a lot. Humour matters almost as much.

• It’s your parents’ first time doing life too.

• Exercise for your mind, not your body.

• The people you love are the whole point of all of this.

35 feels different.

Less certainty. More perspective.
Less rushing. More gratitude.

And if the last year has taught me anything, it’s that life is unbelievably fragile and unbelievably precious at the very same time.

This year would have been the first time ever I would have been exactly half my dad’s age (and if you knew my dad, you’d know how much he would enjoy that fact.)

Three weeks ago we dissolved Carrie’s previous mid-face, tear trough and lip filler to create a true blank canvas - and the results speak for themselves ✨

Today was her review and she looks fresher, softer and more youthful, without the puffiness that filler can sometimes create over time.

Going forward, we’re taking a regenerative approach with a course of Sculptra to maintain her natural results and support collagen production, rather than adding more filler back in.

Sometimes the best result isn’t adding more…it’s starting over ✨

We dissolved previous mid-face, tear trough and lip filler to return beautiful Kerry’s face to a true “blank canvas” so that I could reassess her face properly. Once the excess volume was removed, her natural features came back through beautifully: fresher, softer, less puffy and ultimately more youthful.

Now we can create a bespoke treatment plan from the ground up, focusing on subtle, natural results. Watch this space for Kerry’s journey.

“Baby Botox” sounds cute, but it’s really just less Botox. And less product = less longevity.

I’d rather be honest with my patients than sell them a marketing term that won’t give them the results or duration they’re hoping for.
