Cannabinoids mimic molecules the body produces naturally and can bind to receptors on cancer cells. In laboratory settings, this interaction blocked cell growth, starved tumors of blood supply, and commanded programmed cell death. In a glioblastoma trial, patients treated with cannabis-based medicine alongside chemotherapy saw 83% survival at one year versus 44% with placebo.
Street cannabis is not a substitute for clinical-grade treatments. But the findings mark a critical step forward.

Happy Birthday 21st 💚🌱

Billy turned 21!

I have been waiting for 21yrs to share this post with you all and knowing I have been waiting that long and finally getting to say it brings a tear to my eye.

A number of years ago I was offered palliative care for my son because he was having seizures multiple times a day (by multiple, I’m talking about as much as 300+ seizures in one day.)
I was told it was his new baseline after findings on his EEG revealing seizure activity as frequent as every two minutes coming from “all over his brain. Lighting up like a birthday cake” they said.

I was sent home from the hospital with my son in his car seat still seizing, because there were no new meds to try and no new choices for his team of doctors to implement.
I couldn’t stomach the thought of palliative care so I took my little boy home to die and while he slept I scoured the globe to find something, anything to keep him alive.

That search led to Prescription Cannabis.

Today my beautiful boy is celebrating 21 yrs on this earth and complete seizure freedom.

I wish you all could feel the joy in my heart and how proud I am. He has worked so hard and fought so good and my dreams for Billy are coming true.

Happy 21st Billy. I love you with my heart.
