Do you want to know a secret about getting in shape?

You can do it in a hundred different ways. At home, in the gym, with minimal equipment or a full rack. None of that is the limiting factor.

What actually matters is the approach. At this stage in your life it is no longer about grinding yourself into the ground six days a week. It is about learning a few solid movements, keeping the process simple, and finding a rhythm you can actually sustain around a job, a family, and a life that already has a lot going on.

You do not need complexity. You just need consistency.

Real food does not need to be complicated.

What it does need is a little planning. Knowing what you are going to cook that week, doing a proper shop, and putting some effort into the meals you are already making. That is it.

Everything you just swiped through is food we actually eat. It is delicious, it is satisfying, and it works. Not because it is some perfectly calculated meal plan, but because it is real food cooked properly and eaten consistently.

If you eat like this most of the time, you will get in shape. The things that actually hold people back are alcohol, ultra processed foods, and not paying attention to the oils and butters you are cooking with. Sort those out and the rest takes care of itself.

Stop overcomplicating it. Plan your week, cook your food, and trust the process.

You do not need a new programme. You do not need to join a gym tomorrow or throw out everything in your fridge.

You just need to look at what you are already doing and make it slightly better.

More protein. Simpler training. A bit more movement. And stop punishing yourself for not being consistent when life has been full on.

That is it. That is the whole thing.

That’s a wrap. 🎓
I’m officially an MNU Certified Nutritionist.

This year has been overwhelming in the best way, long nights studying, deep diving into research, case studies, exams, and constantly pushing myself to understand nutrition at the highest level.

But honestly? It’s been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.

Mac-Nutrition Uni is one of the most recognised and respected evidence-based qualifications in the entire health & fitness industry. It’s changed how I think, how I coach, and how I help people transform their lives.

What I can do now goes way beyond calories and macros.
I can:

• Build personalised nutrition strategies backed by real evidence
• Create clinical-level assessments for gut health, weight loss, performance & behaviour change
• Analyse metabolism, hormones, energy systems, and METs with precision
• Support athletes, busy professionals, parents, real people with real challenges
• Break down complex science into simple, life-changing steps

Isaac came to me already training, already putting in the effort but what he needed was structure, direction, and real clarity around his routine and nutrition.

Phase 1 was about stripping body fat while building muscle, the perfect combo when you’re still relatively new to proper programming.

Phase 2 we went into a small surplus to build strength and lay a solid foundation.

Phase 3 we cut back down for summer.

The result?
Well… the photo does the talking.

Proud of this lad, he’s one of the hardest workers I’ve coached, and the transformation speaks for itself.
