A productive and collaborative morning at Riddel Hall for the SEiD Stakeholder Workshop, bringing partners together to explore best practice in supporting SAS doctors and dentists. The workshop introduces The SAS Excellence in Development (SEiD) Recognition Award, a national scheme launching soon in Northern Ireland, providing a single action framework to recognise excellence in SAS development.
The morning included a welcome address from Professor Camille Harron, Postgraduate Dean and Director of Education, NIMDTA, with insight from Dr Julie Anne Forbes, Associate Dean for SAS Career Development, NIMDTA, followed by discussion with guest speakers Professor Geeta Menon, National Dean for Inclusive Integrated Careers, NHSE, and Mr Kieran White, Programme Manager for Postgraduate Medical Education Reform, NHSE, as preparations continue for the awardโs introduction in Northern Ireland. ๐
