We are delighted to announce and congratulate Graeme Skelly on his new role as Director at Doherty Architects.

Graeme has been with Doherty Architects since 2006, first as a student before becoming an Architect in 2010. Graeme became Associate Director in 2018 and has since helped to deliver numerous award-winning projects.

This new role reflects Graeme’s commitment, hard work, and dedication to the practice over the years. We are thrilled to have him assist in leading our team and helping to shape the future of the practice.

It’s nearly a year since the handover of our project at 100 Great Patrick Street, Belfast, in collaboration with Belfast City Council & McCusker Contracts for VOYPIC, Include Youth and VIable Corporate Services Corporate Services.

One of the projects main features is the central triple height light well, introduced to puncture through the upper-floor plates, providing light to flood the lower levels and connecting all the activity areas in the building.

Great to see the building in use!

We were excited to see Perspective Magazine's April issue from The Royal Society of Ulster Architects feature our 100GPS project, as well as being fortunate enough to sn**ch the parting shot.

We worked with Belfast City Council and McCusker Contracts Ltd to deliver a multifunction facility containing youth spaces, activity spaces, media rooms, meeting rooms, teaching spaces, and offices for VOYPIC - Voice of Young People in Care, Include Youth and Viable Corporate Services. This once run-down industrial warehouse in the centre of Belfast has been given a new purpose and lease of life.

We are very proud to congratulate our director Michael Doherty on completing his Fine Art degree with First-Class honours. Today we celebrate his success by visiting his end-of-year exhibition at Ulster University, Belfast.
