I just wanted to be a little honest and transparent.
I’m sorry I haven’t quite been my usual business savvy self recently. The truth is, life has been incredibly difficult since my daddy passed away.
He wasn’t just my father, he was my best friend. He was the kindest, happiest soul who brought so much love and laughter into the lives of everyone who knew him. He is deeply missed every single day.
I worked so hard to build Amanda Breslin Aesthetics and achieve my dream of opening my own clinic. One of my happiest memories is taking my daddy to see the premises after I’d signed the contract. He walked around with the biggest smile on his face, so proud of what I had achieved. Sadly, he never got to see it completed.
Walking into my clinic on opening day was one of the proudest moments of my life, but also one of the hardest. I felt immense pride knowing I had built it through years of hard work, determination and sacrifice, but at the same time my heart was breaking because the one person I wanted to share that moment with was no longer there.
Grief is a journey that has no timeline. Some days you smile, some days you simply survive, and sometimes you can experience both joy and heartbreak in the very same moment. It changes you, but it also reminds you how deeply you were loved. As painful as loss is, I will always be grateful that I had a daddy who loved me so fiercely and made me feel so proud to be his daughter. That kind of love is something I will carry with me forever. Unconditional love.
I promise I’ll keep going, keep growing, and continue trying to make him proud every single day.
Thank you to every client who has shown me kindness, patience and support over these past few months. Behind every business is a real person, and sometimes life reminds us just how human we all are.
This is my life, real life and I miss him terribly 🤍✨
Thank you for allowing me the grace to heal while continuing to do what I love.
