A mix of friendly competition, good conversation and plenty of rallies made for a great afternoon.

Last week, our Director of Innovation Partnerships, Rob Grundy, joined Rory Best and a team of business leaders for Rory’s Miles to Mayo in support of Cancer Fund for Children, Catalyst’s chosen charity partner.

Over nine days, the team covered more than 235 miles across Ireland, completing nine marathons in nine days to raise vital funds for children and young people impacted by cancer, and their families.

Rob took on Days 2, 4, 5 and 6 of the challenge, completing four marathons along the way.

The challenge finished in Cong, Co. Mayo, where Cancer Fund for Children is building Daisy Lodge, its second therapeutic short break centre.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to those across the Catalyst Community who supported the challenge.
