💙 Learning Disability Week 2026 💙
This week, we celebrate with Mencap in Northern Ireland in recognising Learning Disability Week 2026 and supporting this year's important theme: "Do you see me?"
At Sync Living, we believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, valued, and included. People with a learning disability should be recognised for who they are as individuals – their strengths, aspirations, achievements, and unique contributions to their communities.
The theme "Do you see me?" challenges us all to look beyond labels and assumptions and ensure people with a learning disability are actively included in conversations, decision-making, education, employment, healthcare, and community life.
Through the equipment, environments, and solutions we provide, we are proud to support individuals, families, therapists, schools, care providers, and organisations in creating opportunities for greater independence, comfort, participation, and quality of life.
This Learning Disability Week, let's take time to listen, learn, and reflect on how we can all help build a more inclusive society where everyone is truly seen.
